Oh please do! I just posted this because I did not think Texas cowgirl boots could rightfully be called "Arctic".
I saw it as a minor detail, and never anticipated this much fuss!
I WILL think 2 times before posting in here again I assure you.
Thank you very much!

Please alert me to any further problem entries and I'll
examine the IPs. I've blocked the whole domain that
the one I was aware of came from.

Okay, couldn't find any how girls wore clubbing.
This [Homepage] how they look with liner in.

Have to imagine liner out and saggy when see caps again.

Yes I guess you mean my tone. Was even worse in a later post I made.

Hey this is DB correctins page, I only post if I find some entry I think is needing corrections.
Seems I have been kinda under some spell lately, now even a post about some BOOTS seems to cause trouble.

I never meant that to happen, I am sorry.

As I said, I will not post in DB corrections again.

Sorry.

I'm going to forget you wrote this, and start again.

This episode was brought up before for the skirt.
I taped it off CKVR channel and described a girl's clubbing style I recall from 10 years back. Was sure they not cowboy boots.
Went by what they called here.

I've even offered to recheck the ep upcoming.

Believe that fair all around?

As I recall, they were loose-fitting with a fringed collar. To me "cowgirl boots" have no collar ... they're just pointy-toed.

If I'm misrecollecting, and they're indeed the latter ... someone let me know and I'll change it.

But the bottom line to me is that this is a very minor detail that's had enough attention paid to it ... and to receive such a snot-nosed reply after a good-faith effort to tend to it really offs my put.

And said I'd forget that.

"now even a post about some BOOTS seems to cause trouble."

What trouble?
I've been asked to post and check into specific clothing for years now.
That ep was one that I did for, and willing to do it again.

If I collected scenes, I'd have already checked to see if I mistaken about them not being cowboy boots. As is have to wait unless caps provided.

Whilst at this,
from notes on the last time this one come up:

That skirt fella- pants hater, or whatever name he using now? wanted to be sure it was a skirt and not shorts. Or those skirty shorts (?)
Maria knows the name for them.

Plan to be sure of both after having another view of it.

Without knowing what search you did, it's impossible to
say. The entry is in the database.

I'm not accepting,
I searched to check that for obvious reasons and they both came up first try.

I'd say considering the "Pattern" of this [now unsigned] poster, you don't waste your time with this foolish question.

Looks like he has another account, but that won't help
him. I'll keep putting them in the block file.

I see.

On this end,
have notes on sites he visited right after being instructed not to post about certain topics.
Like said, predictable.
Just had to search as figured he would and there was the recent entry.
Will go through to make sure all okay.

The problem
The file system seems to be working again, I have restored Add and Edit. You may need to refresh the pages if you still get the "down" message. If I missed any, let me know.

Though both terms have become incorrestly interchangeable in recent years, these are two different things.

Cullottes/cullots are flared shorts. They look just like a skirt from the side:

http://www.youruniformshop.com.au/images/CulottesNetSpecialSmall.gif

Skorts are shorts with a forward panel. They look like a skirt from the front and shorts from the back.

http://image.redoute.com/images/REDOUTEUK/AH01/G/RR166B11G.JPG

In an effort to stay on topic I found a clip of the scene in question. The video quality and scene lighting made it hard to tell, but the only hint that it's anything but a skirt is that the front seems to button down on one side. This would make sense for a skirt or skort but not cullottes.

Skort: A pair of shorts having a flap or panel across the front and sometimes the back to resemble a skirt.

Culottes: A woman's full trousers cut to resemble a skirt.

So it seems there is a difference of which I wasn't aware ... I imagine you were referring to the latter, without the flap(s)?

Biff, I know you do a great job, and I want to thank you for your effort in encouraging contributors and attracting new, for the sake of the DB.

You happened to edit the last 2 suggestions I posted in here, and I know it is my fault- due to my poor English- that I do not understand any of the words or phrases you put in.
That does not make the entries better for me, but I guess it is OK for people with better language skills than I have.

I am sorry if you think I was rude, or "snotty".

Anyway, I found a cap picturing the famous boots. I could send it to one of you if provided with an e-mail address. (I do not have my homepage anymore).

Thank you again.

Er, Mr. Moderator...
...you might want to pull up entry number 9470, and then take a look at the following IMDb page, with an eye towards determining whether the entry should stay in.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0179321/

And while I'm thinking about it, you also may want to consider the same issue with regard to one of Linda Blair's scenes.

Database Glitch, Censor
The database, internet is not 100% reliable.
Remember the my 3 attempts to enter "Eva Arnaz" comedy
DID scene?
There is no reply at all from the server.
### Torture scenes on movie.
The movie is shown on public TV and heavily censored.
There is no torture scene on the censored version,
but the censor bypass most BONDAGE scenes.
