> Figure I'll try later to bring up that Sub-string advice, > and word it in some way. "Great." Sort of Brian, but just so's you're aware: Fatal error: Maximum execution time exceeded in /web/home2/w220131/docs/search.php on line 25 Managed to get afew to use as reference though. Believe there's better ones haven't found yet. So will try abit later. July 20 2001 "I assume that the latter (non-capitalized) entry suffers from a bad case of scene creep? Allow me to climb on to the soap box here -- when you enter a movie or TV movie into the database, please include the date listed in the IMDB entry. Film titles are frequently recycled, so it's important to know which one we're referencing. The moderator has put a IMDB link on the database entry page so the enterer can verify the title, so the year can be noted at the same time. In fact, copying and pasting the title from the IMDB would ensure that the title is correct AND the year noted." June 20 2001 "Time for some more complaining: Record number: 5627 Title: trail of a serial killer Medium: Movie Actress: thea gill Description: i haven't seen this movie but the trailer is available at IMDB 1. Are capital letters in short supply? 2. No description of the scene. 3. Person hasn't seen it, why make the entry? 4. Who cares if a trailer is in the IMDB? It may not be a month from now. As always (yeah right), I don't want to make the individual feel bad, I'm using this to instruct the general populace. Since I didn't see anything salvagable about the entry, it has gone off to live on a farm, where it can run and play all day with other database entries." May 11 2001 "If you're not a good english speaker, and you want to add to the database, ask for help here. Don't put foreign language entries in." ________________ March 10 2001 "That tight-ass moderator dude won't even let me talk about BLUES HOCKEY" Hmmm, doubt Grumpy Mod included in Mr Federko's Best Fans opinion? ;) |

Found few more for reference: October 3 2001 > DIRTY MARY, CRAZY LARRY, but I find nothing on the DB As always, minimum search string. I just entered "crazy" in the title field. Oct 4 2001- (Reply) > because I put a comma between > "Mary" and "Crazy" > I couldn't get the lowdown on > THE CANDY SNATCHERS because I typed in THE CANDY > SNATCHERS, rather than CANDY SNATCHERS, THE. Yes. It does a substring search, which must match exactly. Nov 1 2001 > See? SEE? I tolja! It's under "Magnum, P.I." instead > of "Magnum P.I.", which I checked. Which is why you don't try to do an exact title match. Search for magnum. |

Friday November 29 17:27:17 2002 Recent Entry Question? |
Record number: 8142 Title: Behind Closed Doors with Joan Lunden (also shown as an episode of "The Real Story") Medium: TV Series Actress: Joan Lunden, Kerry Lyn Dalton (interviewee) Description: Episode: "Women's Prison" (2001) Lunden spends a day as an inmate in a maximum-security California women's prison. Early on, she's shown in an orange jumpsuit, her wrists cuffed at her sides to a chain around her waist, walking to the van that will take her to the facility. Just before getting in, she kneels on the van's doorstep as she's shackled in leg irons. Once she arrives at the big house, she's assigned to the solitary confinement unit, to which, after changing into a blue-and-white prison outfit, she's led with her hands visibly cuffed behind her back. After spending a few moments enduring the catcalls of other inmates while sitting still cuffed in a temporary holding cage, she's shown being similarly escorted several more times in the first half of the episode, during which she remarks more than once that she had to be cuffed every time she left her cell. Later, no longer posing as an inmate, she returns to the prison. She spends about the last ten minutes of the episode interviewing Dalton, a death-row inmate shown being escorted to and from the interview room with her wrists cuffed at her sides to a waist chain. She stays in the restraints during the interview. Can someone recall the ruling for real life situations? There were posts about women in irons for interviews. One high ranking lady in US government, and believe one from Brian? (Believe a local story from St Louis?) Going for US ones, as can't recall actual ruling for the Canadian Women's Prison riot suppression video. Fellas were interested, but there was a general reluctance to discuss on page, due to a Mod ruling? |
