Friday December 27 05:15:53 2002 Re: Other Forum- Question For Peter? |
These translator sites give some wacky responses. For example, has your post as saying: "Only one note to all from the German-speaking countries: It is correct that only a fraction of the German scenes in Brians DATA cousin is to be found. That is not a miracle, because if we do not enter these scenes, it does not do anybody differently for us. Finally the railways are dependent on inputs of the visitors by Brians side. We are the DATA cousin!" Highly doubt you meant "railways" & "cousin" etc? So's interesting for me trying to follow there huh? So a favour here? You mentioned "Cobra 11", then followed up recent with a mention of [#5884] ep:"Todesfahrt der Linie 834". Ask because there's still some entries left to ID, this one for. Realise you're all alone there due to the fun I have with the translator sites, and didn't want to post over there about the Unknowns if you had mentioned them already. Thanx |

Forgot to post reason for Cobra-11 interest on Rob's: Record number: 6710 Title: Alarm für Cobra 11; aka Alarm fur Cobra 11; Alarm fuer Cobra 11 Medium: TV Series Actress: Two Unknowns Description: Unknown episode German action series. A good-looking woman (the wife of a district attorney) and her equally cute teenage daughter get kidnapped by criminals. They're both locked in a trunk, with their wrists cuffed behind the back and gagged with transparent adhesive tape. Several shorter scenes. _____ Figured if going to be airing (RTL), could get it ID'd and alert up over there? But you see my hassle going through the guides with what it did to your post huh? |

Friday December 27 09:53:58 2002 Midnight Fear |
Especially relevant due to the rrecnt thread on discussion page, this movie has IMO the greatest hand gagging scenes of all time. August West is dragged around from room to room for many minutes while hand gagged by the two villains. There is a friend of hers in the house looking for her, and later in the movie a cop is outside looking for Ms. West. All the while, she is dragged from one room to another while being silenced. These scenes precede the actual 2 bondage scenes. All in all, one of my absolute favorite bunch of scenes from any movie. |

Maybe this comment doesn't belong on a Corrections page, but I thought the translation was kind of funny, so I hope to be forgiven. I am sure you guessed already that a correct translation would be: "One remark to all in German-speaking countries. It's true that only a small fraction of German scenes can be found in Brians Database. That is no wonder if we don't enter these scenes ourselves; nobody else will do it for us. The DB depends on input from visitors to Brians Page. We ARE the DB." Where the cousin comes from beats me; the railway, well the German railways are called Deutsche Bundesbahn, in short DB. |

So can only imagine what I'd say if used translation to assist Peter in that discussion huh? ;) Why rather go through it with Peter over here. |

> I am Danish, we do not speak German here
German speaking posters appear majority of non-English at Rob's, so realise how that assumption made. As for Denmark. Awhile back, believe Danish fella? alerted to Norway film Dangerous Waters in a round-about way. He prefers ladies wearing skirts & nylons etc. When movie aired here Petronella Barker started off kidnapped whilst dressed as he likes, but changed into men's clothes before being bound. So then understood reason for the rant. There's a few others mentioned in this way that I'd marked down at time as well. Hoping start mentioning all scenes, no matter how dressed so could sort them. But haven't noticed any posts like that for a good while now. Probably missing a good many scenes from TV in Norway, Sweden & Finland etc, huh? |
