Just noticed this one. Books don't belong in the database, no? (Using the names of the actresses whose characters appear in the drawing was an interesting touch, though...)

As the World Turns
There is a duplicate entry posted recently for a scene from ATWT. But the latest description is better and more complete. I entered the first one but didn't see the whole storyline. This new entry adds the details, which were discussed a couple of months ago but never finalized.

Record number: 8051

Title: As The World Turns
Medium: Soap Opera
Actress: Annie Parisse, Maura West

Description: Annie Parisse (Julia) and Maura West (Carly) are being held captive by a guy who has Carly Bound and Gagged and is using Julia to get rid of visitors who come to the door asking for Carly. After the visitor(s) leave, the guy then ties Julia's hands behind her back with a thick piece of rope with several nice closeups. Carly is then ungagged after she is trying to fake an injury while lying on the floor out of view of any windows. The guy catches on and Carly gets disgusted telling him he is never going to get away with any of this. The guy then herds both ladies into the basement where they are tied seated on the floor, back to back (no gags) and then they wiggle towards a table where they knock something sharp off the table and cut themselves loose. They are recaptured though and re-tied.

scenes took place in September 1998

Brian W.: OK, I've updated the entry (#5485) and delete #8051. Thanks for your help!

In the future, if you want to update an existing entry please post it on this page and one of the editors will take care of it. Otherwise, the update just becomes another duplicate, if improved, entry.

I believe the fact that the picture was of actresses in a scene from the TV series was the point of the entry. Whether or not it should remain the database seems like a question for the Boss.

"Whether or not it should remain the database seems like a question for the Boss."

David:
Think this is that "cheerleaders & white socks" guy, and he did ask, awhile back?
Can't recall if? /what? was ruled off-hand?
Wasn't he on about CD jacket pictures too?
Figure someone just went ahead and entered it then.

You fellas don't agree with it? I'll eject it right now.

Possible false entry
Hi guys- Here's an entry which apparently is a "false alarm." I posted an alert for it on the VCR page, and Biff followed it up with an announcement that there was no such scene in the film. He mentioned that this had been discussed on the discussion page as well. I haven't seen it, so I can't verify for sure that there is no scene like this.

Record number: 4246

Title: Danger: Diabolik (1968)

Near the end of the movie, we get to see her bound and over the mouth with cloth in the back of a van, kidnapped by gold smugglers. She wears a skimpy blouse, short skirt and booties. Yeah, recall this.
Over-all impression was poster in error.

Entry deleted, thanx.

Now, there *is* a scene in the film ... two, in fact ... it's just that *this* one is a no-show. There was a handgagging and a wrist-binding to a bed frame.

The details are included in messages posted 8/14 and 15 at Discussion.

Forget it then.
I'll go rent it and clear it up once and for all.

Nothing to clear up ... they are in the film. I saw them when it was dissed on MST3K. I was futilely hoping this phantom scene had been cut from that airing, and that the AMC presentation would contain it.

Check the Discussion posts for more details.
