"For only an extra 20$ a month" Watching Quinn & Fergie's crucifixion in HD worth the extra $20? ;) |

I just saw this movie, but the DID-scene mentioned was not shown. |

Scene creep. I recently saw stills, and Honey is unbound when she is gagged. After she's seated in the packing case, her wrists are tied to what look like chair arms built into the case. |

I believe the quoted line from Ms. Bankhead is actually "Gag and bind her". |

First thank you Mr Filter for a thorough answer. And yes, I am very impressed with the high resolution in those caps. Therefore I do not doubt that you are right in saying you can see the restraints clearly on your system. That, and the added remark "a very short scene" makes me say: I prefectly agree with the present description, I withdraw my suggested addition, and I am sorry for having wasted your time. (Never mind Irina's "invisible" cuffs) Second, you are right about my "system": although my computer is quite modern (crystal clear flatscreen, 80 Gb disk, CD-DVD R/W etc, same can hardly be said about my TV. I bought it (new) in ehhh...1989. Plus a somewhat newer VCR, all guaranteed purely analog technology. I will never make this kind of suggestions again. (On picture quality, or what is visible or not) I am saving my money for a new TV, however, until flatscreen TVs labeled HDready comes down in a reasonable prize. Now, people pay thousands of dollars for big showoff-screens that will be hopelessly outdated before 2010. I think they are being had bu the industry. I would love to have a DVD with harddisk- then I could actully record whole movies/episodes, and edit afterwards, so I wouldn't, like now, miss the often crucial first seconds of a scene-that's often where the only closeup of the restraints are shown as I am sure you know. Then again-blu ray? The only thing I can edit is a rented DVD ,using the computer. What equipment do you use Mr Filter? (sorry if this became a bit long-then again noone is forced to read it) |

A perfect example of this is the Lost 2x02 scene. I sent it out this week and it was so dark, I don't think any of the cappers who used analog tuner cards even bothered to make a scene. In high def, it looks damn nice. If you want to see it, email me. -> What equipment do you use Mr Filter? I used to dump high def over the air broadcasts in the states, but there isn't anything like that up here, so I get my newest tv episodes, etc, from "other people" and cap from there. There are a ton of places where you can get TV episodes and other video already captured, compressed and in a nice and tasty .avi file that can be easily dragged into virtualdub. I do capture with a pos hauphague usb tuner, but I really use that more to grab episodes of the daily show instead of grabbing scenes. I'd move up to a hauphauge 150, but my cable tv picture isn't the greatest (in a 30 year old house, the cabling isn't the greatest) and besides, I can get better quality versions from other people. I also get a lot of stuff off dvd. |
