Actually, I just edit them losslessly from HDTV/Blu-ray rips which are put out by release groups (collectively called "the scene"--albeit nothing to do with our DiD terminology!) They're the ones who put all the effort into capping, ripping, & encoding all the stuff I post here. The only thing left for me to do is download an entire movie or TV episode (often in the region of many GBs each) and clip out the DiD action for us. It's really laborious, especially when using the clunky Mkvmerge program which doesn't have real-time previewing for video streams encoded to H264 (thus often making keyframes a total nightmare to handle). Xvid within the AVI container is much easier to edit using VirtualDub, but that codec has long become obsolete when it comes to HD material. Any 720p/1080p caps released by the aforementioned "scene" groups are encoded to strict standards using H264 within the MKV container. Why such standards? It ensures consistency throughout all releases, which I think is a good thing. I've made mention on here a few times that I'd like to write up a comprehensive guide for DiDcappers on how to encode HQ/HD stuff like the pros, but in all honesty it's too just huge a task. Even I don't fully know how they encode HD caps (the x264 frontend is their main method of encoding H264, but beyond that I have no idea what settings to use), although I am quite well versed with DVDrip standards using Xvid. It's certainly not the easiest stuff to learn.......... |

See the damsel tied and gagged at 5:30 minutes in, She tries to get them taking her gag off but since they kidnapped her by mistake and not her rich twin who came from spain and they aren't speaking Spannish they leave her gagged and when kidnapper 1 asks kidnapper 2 what she said he replies I don't no Spannish Continues at 8:30 minutes they leave her gagged with a bomb. | I think the scene is over as she is untied in this part. I had to cut some parts where bonds aren't shown. There was just way too much dialogue. |
