This is practically a scholarly community on this subject. Seems that there must have been some water-peril scenes that were mercilessly cut, too. Between the closeup and the rescue, you barely have the sense that she's in a dangerous position at all. Still an all-time classic for the significance of the actress, the movie, and the franchise. |
