It's funny because for a minute she's definitely acting like her hands are tied. But in the preceding scene, you can see that one of her hands is free (it's behind the old guy)and later on she pulls them out. There are definitely no ropes but I wonder if in the script it said she was supposed to be tied and it was a continuity error. Or maybe she just pretended to be tied to make the scene more dramatic. :) |

That shot of arm behind the old guy could have been put in first because they weren't able to get an establishing shot while shooting. Her hands would had to have been tied or she could have used the ELECTRA COM right away before Evil DG had a chance to tell Frank to shut it off. As you can see her left arm is clearly behind her and she says, "I'll use my Electra Comp to get us out of here!" She then starts struggling as if bound. |
