This page is for posting links to online streaming video, Youtube and things like that. The rules are somewhat looser than Discussion. You can post and discuss mainstream and related amateur video. Do not post clips from commercial videos. It's usually not that hard to tell the difference.

I run into this every once in a while, where a clip of mine plays fine on computers but won't play on certain tablets. I'm not sure why because they are made and encoded the same as all the others. In the past I've even tried remaking the clip from scratch but it still won't play, leading me to conclude it has something to do with the original source files from the DVD since my clips are uncompressed. Works fine when someone converts it to another format tho. |

| Am chasing a hard-to-find 1988 French film called Camomille. It concerns a guy who takes in a drug addicted girl, played by the lovely Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu. There's a scene where he forcibly gives her a bath in a hollowed-out car and first ties her hands behind her back and gags her with a wide strip of medical-type tape. Very sexy looking scene and girl. Have had no luck sourcing a download or dvd is one of those countless films that just fade away. If anyone can source a copy or just the bathing-bondage scene itself it would be muchly appreciated. The one rather blurry picture of the scene that I have seen is very hot |

| There is a new crime series in Iceland that's been released called "Stella Blómkvist", starring Heiða Rún Sigurðardóttir (AKA Heida Reed) as the titular character. According to the trailer she'll get the treatment at some point, at 1:37 you'll see a glimpse of her cleave gagged crying for help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LffuVRNgMk0 Now, the series has been released in full, but the TV company releasing the series are trying to taking a very hard stance against piracy so only the first episode has found its way on our Icelandic version of Pirate Bay, and that episode didn't include anything interesting for us. And as I don't have a TV I can't buy a subscription for the TV channel. I hope it won't be too long until the whole series will be available to download, but as soon as it does I'll upload episodes that would be of our interest to the drive. |

Makes sense. MPEG-2 isn't the most efficient compression format, and some mobile devices just can't keep up. MPEG-4/H.264 needs significant resources as well, but since it's the de facto standard these days, mobile devices typically have hardware acceleration that's specifically designed to deal with it. When I repost your clips to the Drive, I always recompress them to H.264, mostly just to save space but also to make them a bit more mobile-friendly. But when people do want to give your original clips a shot, you might recommend either the VLC or MX Player mobile apps. Both have a good reputation for dealing with "challenging" formats, including MPEG-2. |
