Title: Fringe Medium: TV Series Actress: Jennifer Missoni Description: Episode: "August" (2.08) Christine (Missoni) is kidnapped off the streets by an Observer, and endures a long scene throughout the episode. She is held captive in a hotel room, where she is sat on a chair; her hands are tied in front with rope and attached to a bed, and she is tightly cleave gagged onscreen with a striped blue bandanna. When she is left alone, we get prolonged close-ups of some really nice clenched-teeth expressions as she squeezes her eyes closed and struggles against the ropes with all her strength. Eventually the wooden bedframe breaks, but the ropes remain secure and Christine's momentum from all the tugging sends her flying backwards onto the floor with a thump. The Observer soon returns, sits her back on the chair but ungags her for some food; more wonderful close-ups of her opening her mouth wide, adjusting her aching jaw, and the cloth realistically saliva-soaked. Since the Observer is actually out to protect her, he shows concern upon seeing her rope burns and advises her not to struggle so much. After making her watch the news on TV to show her some events that are unfolding, he has to leave again. Once more, Christine is gagged onscreen as she obediently opens her mouth to accept the cloth. The sequence ends with her gazing thoughtfully into space, looking adorably helpless but perhaps not quite as much distressed. Later, she is ungagged for the last time and the ropes untied; all onscreen. She is finally rescued when a female police officer discovers her hidden behind the bed. |

| From Discussion: new scene with Kaitlyn Leeb. Unhappy ending. This scene is VERY dark. I did some basic color balancing in Final Cut which definitely helped, but it can probably be improved upon. |
