| Here we go for posterity... again. They say lightning never strikes the same place twice. They're wrong. On March 2020, I informed the DiD community that I came into possession of the legendary Michelle Pfeiffer white tape gag scene from the TV Series B.A.D. Cats. Unfortunately, it wasn't true. The two episodes that I got from the VHS recording in eBay were the pilot episode (S01E01) and "The Good-Time Girls" (S01E02). No gag scenes for Michelle Pfeiffer. So why ask for $1,500,000.00 to unlock a scene that I don't even have? That's simple. The hope to finally see this mythical scene was almost dead and my goal was to bring back hope to the DiD community to search harder to not only find it but also destroy the scammer who charges a ridiculous amount of money for it. Whether it was the right thing to do or not, I thought it was the best thing to do at the time. So here we are again, 3 years and 6 months later. I've still been stalking eBay all those years and a few weeks ago, I found a guy who was selling the 6 episodes of B.A.D Cats on VHS recordings. I bought them and I can now officially say that I've the Michelle Pfeiffer holy grail from B.A.D. Cats. Unfortunately, the director of the episode used some very weird camera angles so we don't get a lot of good close-ups. That being said, Michelle Pfeiffer is so beautiful, her acting is so great and her mmmphings are so good that I think it's still a great scene. I've also her other scene from B.A.D. Cats that was already posted, but in better quality. I'm still in shock and I still can't believe that I dug up a 43-year-old treasure from the past that the entire DiD community considers to be the biggest possible achievement ever. It was an honor, my friends. I would donate some money, and I'm sure others might too for your efforts here. Yeah, the scene is pretty bad and doesn't match what others have said that claimed to have seen it. But at least we got to see it. The gem here is the second scene is pretty good quality with that white OTM, so thanks for that, too. I was just watching old VHS tapes on youtube of Pfeiffer in "Delta House," the 1979 spinoff TV series based on the movie. She was in a handful of episodes and went right from that to BAD Cats months later, and I was thinking just last night, we got all her episodes from Delta House but not Bad cats. Wow. |

Asking cause I was not a hundred percent sure about that recently, reading posts here and there on these boards and elsewhere ... Hope I will be as lucky with that mysterious potential Indaba Grail next Friday. But sad thing is, even if those scenes would exist, will be extremely hard to put our hands on them and edit for the community (no DVD VHS or streaming ever available...even original TV recordings, and copys aren't permitted for the general public at INA). In the end, hope it's just a hoax... |

The tape-gag scene was the last episode aired before it was canceled. I have done some research on this, Spelling TV made the series and their archive was bought by CBS when Aaron Spelling died. But there is no way to know if the episodes were even saved, although promising to see Getty HQ photos of the episodes, so maybe they exist somewhere. |
