Stapleton plays Julie, the girlfriend of a local gangster who finds her flat invaded by two oddball guys (one of them calm and well-spoken, the other mentally challenged) looking for revenge on her partner. Knocked unconscious by a headbutt after getting high on cocaine, she wakes up lying on her bed, and bound with several strips of white bedsheet; hands behind her back, knees and feet together. At this point she is more annoyed than scared, and moans "I ain't [] got time for this!" When her mobile rings, she wriggles round on the bed and uses her nose to answer it. Eventually her captors get tired of her complaints and tear up another bed sheet to gag her with: a nice tight cleave gag, but applied offscreen. From this point on Julie becomes scared, sitting up on the bed and sobbing enough that her makeup runs. Also some nice gag-talk. A visitor calls at the flat and Julie's gag is briefly removed onscreen so she can identify him (or so she thinks), and after that she is briefly handgagged. Wriggling off the bed, she hops out into the hall but the visitor is a gangster she helped set up earlier in the film. When he recognises her, she quickly starts hopping back towards the bedroom (still tied up) screaming as she tries to duck bullets. The gunman is overpowered by the well-spoken burglar and both captives are tied to wooden chairs; Julie now has her wrists tied to the side of the chair and her ankles to the chair legs, again with bed sheets, and is cleave gagged as before. Constant close-ups of her, but she hardly makes a sound. The captives are then placed facing each other and each have one wrist untied for a game of Russian roulette which comes to a premature end for the gangster. After that, Julie is carried around on the chair from room to room, one hand still free but feet still tied. Having ungagged herself onscreen and thinking her ordeal is over, she also comes to a premature end at 1hr 14mins, by falling victim to a stray bullet from an unexpected source. The first 15 minutes are very good and quite funny but the second half will not be to everyone's taste; major guy interference is unavoidable. All times based on the DVD release. Julie wears a very skimpy white tank top with no bra (nips poking), jeans with a black thong peeking out, and black heeled boots. NOTE: the 2002 date listed is for the general release. IMDB lists 2001 as the release date due to some early showings at festivals. She's rescued by her boyfriend (Nick Stahl) in a knight's guise that makes him look somewhat like a Roman centurion. It turns out that the scene is a daydream brought on by his studying for an upcoming examination (the film is set in mid-19th century Russia and the scene has no connection to the plot) and that he has "cast" two of his older [] friends as the lead characters. | The second episode of Dangerouc Curves has been posted online, scene is at 19min, shame there were no gags. Title: Dangerous Curves Medium: TV Series Actress: Lise Cutter, Michael Michele Description: Episode: "Auld Lang." (1.2) Both ladies are bound to a post in a warehouse. Too bad, as the first two were very good quality. I never saw any Season 1 episode, and the Lise Cutter solo tape-gag scene is one many of us have been serarching for, even caps would be nice. I didn't know they had a female boss in Season 1, nice looking French actress who didn't do much after this one season. She was replaced by the French guy for Season 2. |
