She is tormented with a menacing gun to her chest and the bad guy executes her camera man, who was bound in a similar fashion, in front of her. Maureen's older sister Margaret (Kopins) persuades a reluctant hero to rescue the girls; about halfway through the movie his ineptitude gets them both hogtied with plenty of rope, but not gagged, so they can trade juvenile insults. This is an extended scene which shows hero and heroine struggling ineptly to untie their bonds. A few minutes later Maureen and her fellow captive are shown in a low shot lying ungagged on cots with their wrists apparently lashed to the corners by their heads. They wear mid-thigh length robes, their ankles are unbound, and they are barefoot. The unidentified character is lifted from her cot by one of her captors and carried off with the ropes still dangling from her wrists. A few minutes later Margaret and Jake make their way into the cot room and untie Margaret. The unknown actress is possibly Nancy Riach.
