Monday August 31 12:25:45 2015 A Deadly Vision (Kristin Davis) |
I found a DVD that contained a high quality TV-Rip of the movie. I trimmed the VOBs with DVD Shrink, then muxed them in MKV format using MKVMerge (no re-encodes). Unfortunately, the onscreen tying and gagging part is missing. A poster had mentioned that the part was cut from some airings of the film. But that's a minor issue, since this is probably the best this scene has ever looked and sounded. https://www.sendspace.com/file/d9epwk (knockout scene) https://www.sendspace.com/file/6imwss (B&G scene) |

Also, careful if you're going to join the two MKV's together; I had some issues after joining them with MKVMerge (some keyframes must be problematic), which is why I uploaded this in two parts. |

Monday August 31 13:41:47 2015 Velo de Novia |
Title: Velo de Novia Medium: Soap Opera Actress: Susana Gonzales Description: Very decent and long scene featuring this beautiful actress in this Spanish telenovela. I estimate that the scene occurs between the chapters 45-50. Gonzales plays Andrea, the heroine of this story who is kidnapped by her doctor who made her a heart implant and now he decides to take it from her. She's kidnapped by two guys and they force her to the cab of a pickup truck. She gets handgagged by Hector Suarez. Later we see her tied at a table and struggling, arms tied spreadeagle type, then she's gagged with a good strip of white tape. Good quality and quantity of close ups, lots of muffled cries and a strong struggling when the cops come for her rescue. The scene is delightul even when they take her gag of, because she's still tied up and struggling. The other good element is because she's so damn pretty. __________________________________ Timecodes: 11:00 12:58 19:22 24:42 |

Please forgive me. Not at all Mr Dan, or may I call you Mad? Apart from the non existent hogtie, your description was as accurate as can be. It's great to know you're still around. I took the liberty of inserting the tying and gagging part from my old VHS-dub clip and reencoding. You will definitely see and hear the quality difference, but it's tolerable IMO. If anyone manages to dig up a better copy of that elusive middle section (it's gotta be out there on at least a first-generation VHS), send it along and I'll redo. |

I'll try to correct it when my current flurry of urgent business is over! Still around, though my site is indeed extinct. I noticed it three or four weeks ago. Sponsorship pulled, I suppose. Nearly all my work is exhibited on the United Bondage Fakers and Fetlife sites, both of which require (free) membership. Not doing much these days, though.... |

Monday August 31 21:00:28 2015 Into the Blue (Director's Commentary) |
Here's a nice treat: Our beloved Jessica Alba scene with a commentary by director John Stockwell. I only kept the parts where he says something interesting about the scene as opposed to the whole DiD scene (Sam's DiD edit does a fine job at that!). There are no DiD stuff in the bonus features on the DVD. If you want Jessica's opinion of the scene, here's an excerpt from an interview (thanks, OutlawUK): "So the girl is literally like tied up and the guy comes to the rescue and I said to john "you know. I'm really good at action and you should maybe like write something for me to do"." https://sites.google.com/site/damselindistressinterviews/jessica-alba And another from her IMDb profile: "I just didn't like the damsel-in-distress thing. I could relate to young girls wanting to see her take care of herself. And because I'm so good at action, I talked the writer and producer and director into throwing together a little fight sequence. It ended up taking three more weeks to shoot it. But at least I'm not tied up and asleep until my knight in shining armor comes and saves me. So I thought it was cool." |

Cool, and since yours > Sam's >> mine, I couldn't help myself...here's yet another reencode combining the first two. Apart from the brightness difference (which I didn't attempt to correct), I think it looks pretty solid. |

Monday August 31 21:56:05 2015 Rizzoli & Isles |
Preview scene for the season finale has Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander) getting chloroformed and dragged off. Not much of a chloroform scene, focusing on her dropped cell phone, but hopefully will lead to more. |

Thanks for posting this! Let's hope that isn't the last scene of the episode. Making us wait 'til 2016 to see Maura-in-distress and her eventual rescue is just... mean! ;-) |
