This is my most viewed scene of all time, and I never really thought about it before, always assumed it was a striped cloth, until a few years ago I had a good look at an HD copy and realized that the gags are some kind of leaves--fake plastic ones, I'm assuming--that the headhunter would have found on the island, and then used something--string or cloth--to tie over them. More importantly, thanks to Sam, Raffish and everyone who's contributed to posting all of these clips. |

There are few things more satisfying than finding HD upgrades of very old scenes. New ones are dime a dozen, and easily taken for granted as they're already broadcast in HD, but oldies such as The Baby, What Ever Happened To Baby Jane, Play Misty For Me, or Gilligan's, are like pirate treasure when compared to the postage stamp sized edits we were used to even a few years ago. |
