| Oh and of course, since the series was was shot in 16mm but framed for SD, it could be that no widescreen HD version is even possible without cropping a nasty amount of stuff on the top and bottom and/or revealing stuff we weren't meant to see on the sides. (See also "Vampire Slayer, Buffy the." I made exactly one widescreen clip from that series before deciding "never again," because as Joss Whedon pointed out in a famous tweet, it simply wasn't shot that way. Looks like Anubis has reached the same conclusion.) |
