I still, after all these years, can't get my head 'round how such a mainstream US TV movie of that era produced such a scene!

Terror Among Us is a One-Off. Unique and even more remarkable that it was made for standard tv of the time. Like the show-makers were indulging their fantasies. Always think of the Bellamy tv series episode "My Fav'rit Policeman" which appeared around the same time too. Extremely bold tv bondage. Don't know how either production got away with it. Love to see a TAU remake but in this day and age it'd never happen

I recall seeing the preview for Terror Among Us, and desperately wanting to watch the movie when it aired on television. Of course I missed it, and in those days, if you missed a television program, you really missed it; you wouldn't be able to view it for YEARS, if at all.
I recall reading about the movie and seeing some video stills from it in the years after its premiere on network television, and I managed to watch a truncated version of the movie in the USC film library. I wasn't able to watch the movie in its entirety, however, until more than twenty years after its premiere, when the DVD was released.
Yes, the movie definitely defied network television standards of the time, with its graphic depiction of female bondage and a violent crime. It's surprising that television censors allowed it to be aired.
There actually was a television show episode that was remarkably similar: the "Empty Eyes" episode of CSI, which featured five or six bound and gagged women, all victims of a mass murderer. There was also another television show episode that was not really violent, but featured three times as many bound and gagged women: the "Lost Women" episode of Vega$.

It defies credulity, doesn't it? The scenes where the flight attendants are bound and gagged is very dark and graphic, even for today. Does anyone know whether Terror Among Us is based on actual events?
Lifetime, the feminist television network, produces numerous movies featuring bound and gagged actresses, some with multiple scenes. The depiction is nowhere near as dark and graphic, however. Aren't many of them based on actual crimes? I recall one movie, whose title I can't remember, where the bound and gagged victims of a serial killer are discovered all over a city.

Info regarding a Korean Scene
I got this pic from wudixiao DeviantArt account. The damsel name is Claudia Kim, a Korean actress. Can anybody present over here(especially korean guys) tell me in which series/film this scene is present?

Re: Wonder Woman "Time Bomb"
I got busted as a young teen peeking around a wall as my father watched Terror Among Us on late night Australian tv circa '85. Got a serious dressing down over trying to watch this "terrible, nasty film" by both parents. Probably wasn't listening though. My DiD interests were already entrenched and TAU was just about the hottest thing I'd ever seen. Along with Judy Matheson's immortal scene in The Professionals. Obviously TAU's subject matter is very unsavory but Man O Man those cleave gags!! Was most happy to obtain a dvd copy from Amazon some years back. Was as good as I remembered which is rare. Remake for the Fortieth Anniversary next year lol!

German scene
Anyone have this great scene?

Title: Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten (1992) aka GZSZ aka Good Times, Bad Times
Medium: Soap Opera
Actress: Natalie Alison

Description: While there may be more action before this, my copy of this extremely noteworthy sequence opens with the beautiful, blonde Isabel (Alison) tied to a chair with her hands behind her back. (We see several closeups of her bound wrists, though not right away.) Wearing black pants and a tight purple shirt, she's tightly gagged over the mouth with white cloth. As the scene begins, her male captor is tying her ankles together. He proceeds to taunt her for a while in German, the comprehension of which is unfortunately not my specialty.

At one point, while his back is turned, she manages to get one hand free and attempts to make a call on her cellphone, but he catches her and quickly reties and regags her. Later, he ungags her and gives her a drink of water, then regags her again -- this time with an extremely photogenic cleave gag, just for variety's sake. Toward the end of the sequence, he further restrains her with white tape around her knees and ankles, then leaves her alone to struggle. She's rescued not long after.

The sequence is especially impressive because its director seems to know exactly what we want to see and gives it to us. For literally minutes on end, the camera never leaves Ms. Alison, even though the bad guy is doing all the talking: it merely cuts to a different angle on her and works him into the frame as needed. There's also some nice attention to detail with the gags and rope, such as when we see that her ankle ropes are also tied to a vertical pipe behind her chair.

Meanwhile, Ms. Alison can't exactly be faulted in the mmmphing, emoting, or struggling departments. Curiously, this is her only role in the IMDb. Methinks that both she and her director deserve more work.

It's loosely based on the Richard Speck case.

This is a different one, but I don't think it's been mentioned. Courtney plays a chained-up Elsa from Frozen, and the chains look pretty good. No gag, except the thumbnail for the video shows the cartoon Elsa with a ballgag added to the picture (why oh why couldn't they have done that pic with Courtney?). Scene starts at 2:02. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Ov5EE4bopQ

Very loosely based. Richard Speck entered the dormitory of a nursing school in Illinois, I think, and bound and gagged all the nursing students. He then did some horrific things to them. Unlike the rapist from Terror Among Us, he had no previous connection to his victims.
The "Empty Eyes" episode of CSI was also loosely based on the Richard Speck case. I think the victims, all beautiful girls, were living in a luxury house together as part of some reality show. The killer read an article about these women, and despite the fact that the house's address wasn't mentioned in the article, he was able to locate it by its picture. Like Richard Speck, this killer had no previous connection to his victims.

Dial phone with feet scene
Keeping in line with the great compilation of damsels using their feet we got today, anyone else remember a scene, I'm pretty sure it's a Spanish-speaking scene. The damsel has her hands tied (cuffed?) over her head and she's laying on a bed. She kicks off her shoes and uses her socked feet (toes) to dial a nearby phone. She gets caught in the process and then is gagged.

Would love if anyone had it!

Maybe we need a new term to recognize putzes who redeemed themselves. Ted would definitely be in the running to be the charter member of this club!

Isabel Imagination ASMR spends 16 mins cleave gagged and struggling in the background of her Walking Dead ep 4 video. There is a dude talking in front of her if you can look past that but she remains visible the entire time, She's grabbed about 9 mins in with a cloth over her mouth.

There is a channel called "Funny DIY" with lots of vids of girls taped up and gagged. The bondage isn't great so don't get too excited but there is tape gags for the ladies

Remember that videos here must have a degree of
scripted content. No "girls playing around". Not
tied up for the sake of it, funny or not.

The purpose is suppose to teach self defence techniques to people but in a comedic way through silly skits. It's not like escape challenges or anything like that.

Scene ID
I'm just looking for this scene, it begins with a man walking into a women's restroom, and the woman in their ends up handgagged, then it cuts to him leaving the restroom and leaving the maintenance sign on the door. The woman is still their tied up with red ropes or something like that, with an otm, and she is released by a janitor walking by I think. I saw it on YouTube in the last couple months, but I cannot find it. I thought it was Carabinieri 6, in the DB, but it wasn't it. Possibly european

PatienceWhispersASMR did one of herself bound and gagged. She also has some more ASMR videos of herself gagged and whispering/mumbling but those have been unlisted so good luck finding them, I lost the links to them a while back. Anyway here's the link to the bound and gagged video, it's unlisted so make sure to save it or something
