I know, but I've got a slightly unusual way of dealing with those files: if the video stream is 1080i (whether MPEG-2 or H.264), I deem that as a raw stream & therefore it should be housed in the TS file container, at least in my collection. I don't have many clips like that, so it doesn't really matter if there's a few of them scattered around. Of course, others can remux them to whatever choose; I do that all the time with MKV/MP4/AVI, as preference. |
