This is a dream come true! The most memorable part is, of course, the gag. I love when a damsel is tied to something (a chair in this case) *by* her gag, it always makes it extraordinarily tight while fixing her head in place, making her even more helpless. But there's also the very cute damsel, her energetic fighting at the start and the manhandling by the captor, a great gag talk, many close-ups, numerous regaggings and especially those two moments when the bad guy tightens her gag *even more* and the sound she makes as he does it... yeah, and it's 10 MINUTES LONG! Best scene of the year so far and Ready or Not 2 will have to be *really good* to top this. Thank you so much for editing it, Joker, you're a real hero! |

You're welcome I agree with you and a great scene and also complete. Tight gag, damsel partly humiliated, good ties, squirms in an attempt to free herself and gag talk. I would be very happy if it could be among the best scenes of the year. I'm Italian and unfortunately we have a shortage of scenes, but this is really Top, especially to be made and recorded in Italy. |

For me, it's likely going to be one of the TOP 10 scenes of the whole *decade*. Since you're actually Italian, could you tell me in a nutshell what are they saying at the beginning of the second edit when the captors come to her in the morning, she's trying to say something through her gag and the bad guy goes behind her, seemingly to remove the gag, but instead he tightens it? It looks like a fun exchange, but my Italian unfortunately ends at "buongiorno principessa" :D |

One one hand I agree with the both of you, and there are specific moments where this scene really shines, specifically the first side shot we get of her struggling while gagged and tied, that is *really* nice. On the other, I feel like the Italians may be suffering from lack of experience here, because, imo, this scene isn't really executed well. For starters, she looks way too relaxed at times, almost comfortable? And I don't mean the actress, of course her comfort is high priority, I mean the character itself, which doesn't fit the tone. But with regard to the actress, she is also clearly helping put the gag in, even as she "resists", and they don't even try and hide it. These gaffs go past "is it a good DID scene" and into "mediocre filmmaking" territory. I'm also pretty sure she could wiggle it off in most scenes. It is not *that* tight aside from brief moments. Beggars can't be choosers, and this is certainly one of the better scenes of the year, but I'll admit, I can't help but be a little disappointed, especially after seeing those screenshots. Just my two cents. |
