Record number: 488 Title: The Big Hit (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: China Chow Description: China Chow (a beautiful eurasian model) is restrained in various ways beginning at around the 32' mark (with commercials). She wears a schoolgirl outfit -- plaid, pleated miniskirt; starched white dress shirt and tie; and cute little white shoes. She is kidnapped by a gang that includes the benevolent Mark Wahlberg. The gang binds her hands behind her with silver handcuffs, and she is handgagged during the initial scene. After this, her ankles are tied with a white towel, and she is cleavegagged with another strip for a ride behind the back seat of an SUV. Mark ends up keeping her at his house in the suburbs. When they arrive, he cuffs her hands in front around a pole in his basement. Later, he moves her to another house, where he tries to keep her hidden from his fiancée and her parents. Her hands are cuffed behind her and her legs are tied, so she hops around the house mmphing through her towel gag in several scenes. Mark finally puts her in the back of his SUV, parked out of the way in the garage. He accidentally conks her on the head with the hatchback as he closes it. While he is otherwise occupied, the family takes it out for a drive, never noticing the unconscious China. When they return, Mark wraps her in a sleeping bag and hides her in the house while the family leaves again. He ungags her, so she can help him cook, and then cuffs her hand to his so she will be more effective. Sparks fly, and they start to make out, when, alarmed by a possibly innocuous comment (this is one amoral story, so who knows) he makes about "something so beautiful having to die" (along those lines, at any rate), she tries to escape. She is bound and gagged as before and thrown into the small trunk of his Firebird. We don't see her again until Mark goes for a car chase in the Firebird. She is released at the end of the chase. |

Record number: 1425 Title: Orgazmo (1997) Medium: Movie Actress: Shayla LaVeaux, Unknown, Robyn Lynne Raab Description: About 45 minutes in, LaVeaux and an unidentified actress dressed as classical Greek women are tied-or at least it's made to look like they're tied-standing to posts at either end of the headboard of a large bed that serves as the centerpiece of a porno movie set. Raab gets tied by her wrists to those same posts near the movie's end, although the ropes are so long she's not truly spreadeagled, at the behest of the porno filmmaker, who's kidnapped her to convince her character's boyfriend he really doesn't want to leave the dirty movie business. When she expresses similar sentiments, he responds by slapping a strip of wide tan packing tape over her mouth, yielding a few good mmphing shots during the final fight scene. Ms Raab has been stripped of her clothing and boots and is only wearing a white slip and biege pantyhose during her bondage scene. Added bonus: in the beginning credits, there is a comic-book drawing of a woman bound and gagged slung over Orgazmo's shoulder. There may be other items of interest, so watch closely. There are some deleted scenes of both scenes on the Unrated DVD. |

She's about to be molested when Paul uses "the Voice" (or whatever) to control their captor. In the three-hour SCIFI airing the sequence begins around 90' in and ends about ten minutes later, commercial break included. |

At 1hr 19mins she tries to lead Benn away from a room, but she starts to scream in protest. Bening grabs and handgags her to keep her quiet, but is knocked out from behind by the father. Soon, Bening wakes up and realizes that she isn't going anywhere fast: first we are shown an extreme close-up of her face, gagged with a wide (ear-to-ear) strip of duct tape, and a small streak of blood visible on her forehead. The shot then zooms out and we see that she is lying on a bed on her side, hands tied behind her with rope, which are connected to her ankles in a loose hogtie, and a rope noose also around her neck. All of the ropework is quite loose. She tries to struggle a bit, but then stops and notices Benn talking to her from across the bed. She crawls over to sit next to her, calmly explaining something about how Bening made her father angry, whilst refusing to ungag her for risk of making him even madder. The sequence ends in an adorable fashion with Benn giving her a kiss on the cheek and leaving her to struggle on the bed. A minute later Benn and her father return to the room. He tells her to go and join Bening, who is still hogtied and gagged as before, to which she happily snuggles up next to her on the bed. They both listen quietly as he gives a crazy monologue in front of a dressing table mirror, during which we see Bening lightly tugging at her ankle bonds to no avail. He eventually cosies up next them and rips the tape off Bening's mouth (eliciting a pained reaction from her). Both he and Benn then give her a kiss on the cheek each as they all try to get some sleep. At 1hr 24mins, Benn decides to untie her and they both leave the room together. The scene lasts just under 4mins, is darkly lit throughout, and has a decent mix of close-ups and full-body shots. Bening wears a crimson dress showing a lot of leg, and stiletto heels. Benn wears a coat, light-coloured trousers and slippers. |

Record number: 6772 Title: Law & Order: Criminal Intent aka Law & Order: CI Medium: TV Series Actress: Marianne Hagan, Stephi Lineburg, Bailey Slattery Description: Episode: "Homo Homini Lupis" (1.14) A loan shark kidnaps an embezzling executive's family as collateral for a huge debt. The ladies are blindfolded, shackled, gagged with duct tape. One character is raped by their menacing captor -- off screen, mercifully. The scene, despite this shortcomming, is a multi-damsel scene (a rare kind of scene that is always welcome in my book) with a reasonable length with some decent close-ups especially those of the mother and the elder daughter. In addition, the mother told the police that she and her daughters were "tied up" in a bathroom at a rest area on the NY Thruway when they were found by her father-in-law. Too bad they did not show the rescue! While I personally could have done without the rape scene, I have to admit that such scene certainly added to the episode's drama and suspense. Moreover, that scene gave a very credible sense of urgency and determination to police's efforts to catch the bad guy and also contributed greatly to the victims' ultimate decision to assist the police. Hence, the rape scene made a major contribution to the plot of the episode. First scene occurs around the 12' mark and last scene ends by the 25' mark. |
