Record number: 2181 Title: Apache Woman (1955) Medium: Movie Actress: Joan Taylor Description: Ms. Taylor plays Anne LeBeau, a real hellcat halfbreed in this half-way decent and typically off-beat Roger Corman western. That's why she gets pushed down on a chair, has her arms tied behind her back, her feet bound, and tightly cleave-gagged with a yellow bandanna (all on-screen). The guys leave her like this in some desolate cabin far from help but, being a plucky damsel, she manages to topple a bottle off a table and use its smashed fragments to cut through her ropes. With her hands free, she pulls off her gag. Pretty good scene with nice close ups and some squirming from this lovely, energetic actress. |

This is around the 35' mark (with commercials). Later she's taken prisoner by Lancaster, her wrists are bound behind her back with rawhide and her ankles are tied together and bound to a tree, no gag, where she can't quite reach water. |
