Record number: 11934 Title: Doctor Who (1963) Medium: TV Series Actress: Elisabeth Sladen Description: Episode: "The Seeds of Doom" In Part 2, Sarah Jane and the Doctor are tied up in a shack in the Antarctic, with a bomb set to blow. They escape but get knocked out in the explosion and despite being somewhat under dressed for the climate, survive overnight. In Part 3, Sarah Jane is sneaking about the grounds of a mansion when a guard reaches over and briefly puts a gloved hand over her mouth. In Part 5, Sarah Jane and two men enter a greenhouse to see the villain sitting in a lotus position on the ground. The plants come to life and wrap themselves all over Sarah Jane and the two men. They are rescued by the Doctor and a UNIT soldier applying herbicide to the moving vines. In Part 6, Sarah Jane comes across the villain, who is by then a crazed agent of the krynoid plant and trying to destroy all animal life. He knocks Sarah Jane out with a wrench (offscreen) then ties her unconscious body in the tray of a composter, in order to mince her to nourish his beloved plant life. Fortunately the Doctor is on hand to rescue her and save the day. |

Hannelius aka Genevieve Hannelius, Debby Ryan, Sierra McCormick Description: Episode: "Creepy Connie 3: The Creepening" (3.11) Guest star Mackenzie (Hannelius) has her hands cuffed behind her back by fellow guest star, the psychotic "Creepy Connie" herself (McCormick), at 6mins. She is not pleased about this, and less than a minute later runs out of the kitchen still handcuffed. In the episode's second half, both Mackenzie and luscious-lipped Jessie (Ryan) are kidnapped by Connie and forced to attend an impromptu wedding. At 15mins Mackenzie is shown sitting on a chair, somewhat loosely tied up with white rope encircling her upper body, unbound hands merely resting by her sides, and feet unbound. Jessie joins her at 19mins, and a minute later both have been gagged with a wide strip of duct tape each; some cute mmpphhing, but not much is heard from them. One of the show's male regulars shares their situation, along with a bunch of mannequins sitting behind them as "wedding guests". The unwilling groom is then wheeled up to the altar, bound to a hand truck. At 22mins Mackenzie and Jessie are ungagged and untied onscreen one after the other, and a minute later Connie is wheeled away on the hand truck, except this time she is tied to it with rope. Lighting is bright and vibrant as usual for the Disney Channel, with a few close-ups and full-body views. Both Ryan and Hannelius are wearing lilac bridesmaid dresses; Hannelius wears a grey sweater and jeans in the handcuffs scene (and under the bridesmaids dress during the faux wedding). McCormick wears a long-sleeved white wedding dress. |

Record number: 1214 Title: Bride of Chucky (1998) aka Child's Play 4 Medium: Movie Actress: Katherine Heigl Description: At 1hr 9mins, Heigl is shown tied to a chair and being given a mini-makeover by Tiffany (voiced by Jennifer Tilly), the titular bride of Chucky. The maniacal dolls are holding Heigl and her boyfriend (Nick Stabile) captive on a camper van, with Stabile driving at gunpoint by Chucky. Heigl's hands are bound behind the chair and her ankles are tied together (cinched in the middle) with white rope, which also encircles her waist to the chair. She is not gagged at any point in the scene. In this first sequence she is mainly shown from the waist up, but we do get a couple of good full-body shots, one close-up of her hands, and none of her feet. The lighting is also bright and vibrant. The usual inane dialogue one would expect from this kind of flick ensues for the next 3mins, until Heigl suddenly manages to kick Tiffany into an oven with her bound legs, whilst Stabile ends up crashing the camper van due to Chucky firing a shot. After being knocked out and slightly bloodied by the impact, Heigl comes around and begins to struggle in her chair. Some better full-body shots of her are shown as she struggles to free herself from the loosened ropes, but the lighting is now very dim due to it being dark outside. A now-charred Tiffany menaces her from inside the oven, then jumps out and starts to munch on Heigl's ear (hardly graphic at all). Stabile quickly dispatches of her and unties his babe, after which they both escape from the exploding van at 1hr 13mins. More silliness follows, until the pair are recaptured by Chucky holding them up at gunpoint again at 1hr 18mins. This second sequence begins with a close-up of their hands, now tied tightly behind them with hemp rope; they are seated back to back, rope encircling their upper arms together, but feet unbound. At 1hr 20mins, Heigl breaks free of her ropes. Attire-wise she wears a cute white T-shirt, black trousers and black/white sneakers. |
