Record number: 19108 Title: Hot in Cleveland Medium: TV Series Actress: Jane Leeves Description: Episode: "One Wedding and One Funeral" (6.12) Joy (Leeves) and her imposter 'Canadian' Joy (Missi Pyle) are in an office at 13mins. Joy boldly states her intention to stop Canadian Joy from attending a wedding, but is prevented from leaving the room. Cut immediately to Joy being tied to a chair by Canadian Joy, with several lengths of white rope around her waist, pinning her arms by her sides, and her feet tied together. "Fine. You're faster and stronger than I thought", Joy remarks indignantly. They spend a few minutes talking, until Canadian Joy nonchalantly says "I have to tape your mouth shut now". She presses a wide strip of duct tape over Joy's mouth, making sure to smooth it down nicely. However, she is not quite finished, so she peels off the tape (eliciting an "Ow!" from Joy) and asks for an opinion on her wedding dress; naturally! Cue more dialogue, until Joy is cut off mid-speech by being re-gagged with the tape. She is left alone to stew. Continues at 16mins. A determined Joy struggles and hops the chair over to the door, but is thwarted by Victoria (Wendie Malick) and Claude who burst in and knock her chair over with a hard thump. Joy mmpphhs to be ungagged, which happens in typical comedy style: the tape is peeled off again, prompting another "Ow!" from her. In a finishing touch, whilst Joy is being untied, Victoria holds up the strip of tape and enthuses "Oh look. Took care of that little moustache!" All times without commercials.
