When he is not watching, she frees herself and makes a run for the door. She is caught in time, handgagged, retied (supposedly), but no longer gagged. Later she begins to trust him and is untied. |

Record number: 11236 Title: Buck Rogers in the 25th Century (1979) Medium: TV Series Actress: Erin Gray Description: Episode: "Return of the Fighting 69th" (1.8) Peter Graves guest stars as a bomber commander brought out of retirement to lead a mission against a husband & wife criminals who've stolen nerve gas cannisters to their asteroid base. Buck Rogers & Colonel Wilma Deering's ship is shot down in the first bombing run, and the villains decide to revenge themselves on Deering, whose bombing mission against them years ago cost the man one eye and the woman her hands. They have guards shackle irons onto their ankles, then bring a blowtorch towards Rogers' face. They inform Deering she'll have to extinguish the flames on his face with her bare hands, just as she had to. Deering then grapples with the torch-wielder, just as Graves' second bombing run commences. Wilma Deering is clad in her white flight suit uniform. |

Record number: 11402 Title: Method (2004) Medium: Movie Actress: Elizabeth Hurley Description: This rather bemusing film gains quite some redemption by the fact that Elizabeth Hurley tastes hand-gaggage three times before its over. She plays an actress performing in a film-within-the-film. The first two hand-gaggings are actually identical scenes as she is accosted by a suitor, the second being a reshooting of the original. The first scene occurs about 5 minutes in [no commercials], the second just before 30 minutes. Her character "Belle" is a woman of the early 20th Century, so she wears a rather severe blouse and full-length skirt. The third hand-gagging occurs about 85 minutes in, and it's quite a nice little scene. Dressed in a very flattering black cocktail dress, "Rebecca" [Elizabeth's 'real-life' character] is nabbed by the male lead when it dawns on her that he's a cad. She emotes and 'mmmmphs' very well. |
