Thomas Howell) is taking a shower. A protective arm surround her and she makes happy purring noises until she suddenly release the hairy wrist does not belong to her boyfriend, but serial killer John Ryder (Rutger Hauer). She tries to scream but Ryder clamps his huge hand over our heroine's mouth. In the next scene, Nash is horizontally suspended, tied hand and foot between a semi tractor and trailer and cleave-gagged. Lots of struggling and yelling through the gag, while baddie Ryder in the tractor cab tortures her by slowly pulling forward, then back, before bringing the proceedings to a sad, gruesome end, which isn't explicitly shown, thank God. Scene starts about the 80 minute mark. |

A couple of minutes later, she's still in her predicament as the winner is announced. Mostly she's in the background. Another contestant, who I suppose was engaging in a kickboxing demo, is seen likewise with the laces of her gloves tied together, binding her hands in front, along with a third young lady mummied from head to toe in bright blue save for her eyes. |

Scene is short but decently lit and with good facial close-ups. There's a second scene, though, in which an unknwon is also attacked, in broad daylight to boot, at an automatic teller machine. She's rescued by Hooker and gang before anything bad can happen to her. |

After he blows away a guard, he grabs her scarf and knots her wrist behind her back, then rips her blouse open. After dragging her out of the courthouse, he abandons her, leaving her to stand with her naked breasts exposed to gawking passers-by. Soon after, Rourke and his gang of thugs invade the home of Anthony Hopkins and take his family hostage. Early in the invasion, the daughter (Smith) receives a handgag for nearly three minutes of screen time when a delivery man comes to the door. Some great struggling as the thug keeps her tightly muzzled while she tries maniacally to scream for help. A great handgag scene! |

This occurs around the 35' mark. She frees herself by dislocating a wrist, then proceeds to wail on her captor, while Jarod frees himself with the key. He comes to her rescue after she gets a heavy blow to the gut, then ties her to a post with rope wrapped around her waist and above her chest, and locks the villain in a cage. Her second restraint happens around the 45' mark. Miss Parker promises her former antagonist that he'll receive a reward if he frees her. He extricates himself from the cage, releases her, and gets a shot to the chin for his troubles. |
