Record number: 9590 Title: Peter Pan (2003) Medium: Movie Actress: Rachel Hurd-Wood, Carsen Gray Description: In this big budget adaptation of the Peter Pan story, the adorable Rachel Hurd-Wood plays Wendy Darling. When she first arrives in Neverland and encounters the Lost Boys, she is blindfolded by them as they lead her to their secret hideout. The good stuff starts about 3/4 into the movie, just before the big finale aboard the Jolly Roger. The pirates capture the Lost Boys and Wendy's brothers (guys galore) and then set a trap for her. As she discovers their presence, one of them creeps up behind her and gags her onscreen with a brown cleave (really nice but blurred due to struggling). Her hands are bound behind her back and she is carried OTS. There is one really good closeup of her bound and gagged as she is carted off. In the next scene, she is nicely tied to the mast of the Jolly Roger. Hook cuts her bonds, but her wrists are still bound behind her as he has her walk the plank. Once again, she is blindfolded. All in all, a fantastic debut DiD scene for Miss Hurd-Wood, who, as was mentioned, is a real cutie. PS-Earlier in the film, Carsen Gray, who plays Tigerlilly, is captured by the pirates and manacled hands over her head. She is gagged over the mouth with a blue cloth (two guys in the scene with her.) Nice mmphing but can't compare to the Hurd-Wood scene. |

She's not the one who's tied up though - she does the tying up. Monroe's character ties Bunnie (Corcoran) up on a bed using sheets to get her out of her hair. When we see her, the camera starts at her (bare) feet, and pans to the right to show her bound hands and finally her cleave-gagged face. The cleave gag somehow changes into an OTM gag as Bunnie struggles and falls off the bed. |

Her arms and torso are snugly wrapped as she's held aloft. Later, the two are clamped down to a conveyor belt which carries them inexorably toward a flash-frozen doom. Rufus the hairless mole rat (or is he a rat mole? I was lousy in zoology.) saves the day. |

| Tarzan et la cité perdue (1998)
Record number: 1240 Title: Tarzan and the Lost City (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Jane March Description: Playing the eponymous female lead, she gets grabbed by the baddies about 53 minutes in and marched across jungle and savanna with her hands roped together in front. When they get to the title location, they enter a cave where they decide to do away with her by tying her to a vertical rock and wedging a dynamite stick with a long fuse between the ropes (about 67 minutes). There are a couple dozen short scenes with her wrists tied up between 53 and 67, but nothing to get excited about. All over by 69, where Tarzan unties her. Short close up of the rope at that point. All times w/o commercials. |
