Record number: 15949 Title: Homeland Medium: TV Series Actress: Elizabeth Franz, Claire Danes Description: Episode: Marine One Episode (1.12) The terrorist plans on assassinating the vice-President of the United States and the FBI and CIA close off the place where he plans on announcing his plans to run for the President of the United states. Anyway, a fifty-ish woman gets through the tight security because she lives in the area. As she passes through the area, she arrives home in the basement area of her apartment and parks her vehicle. She then receives a tight hand gag and the person telling in essence, "hello, Mrs.Samler." Next time we see her, she is tied to a chair with rope encircling her upper body, her arms to her side and her feet tied together with rope. She is also gagged with a duct tape over her mouth with a hole in the part where her mouth is. The terrorist looks at her for a moment and we are treated to a mid range shot of her tied to the chair and a close up of her gagged face at least twice. After he hits the chairwoman of the National Democratic Party and not the vice president, he leaves her apartment and pets her on the top of the head like a pet dog. She mummphs loudly but no one is in the building to hear her. She is wearing jeans, a sweater and a jacket. In addition, Claire Danes character is receiving shock treatment at the end of the episode. She is biting down on a blue rubber mouth piece as the doctor gives her character shock treatment. |

Lois and Clark both go to work in the club in order to get the dirt on the operation. Eventually Lois follows Jessica to a meeting in an old building. Here some of her, er, associates, turn on Toni and tie her to a chair. We are not given much of a view of her bonds until near the end when we do see she is strapped by the ankles and has straps around her torso, arms tied behind. No gag. Naturally Clark saves the day. She gets grabbed about 35 minutes in, hands are tied behind her back, seated in a chair. She is tied to the chair off screen and at about 42 minutes, Lex Luther pays her a visit to taunt her. Clark finally rescues her at around 46", the closeups can been seen at this time. |
