If the record number is in the filename (and is fairly easy to identify via a script - something like BPR-##### would work because we can be fairly certain that "BPR-" won't ever appear by accident), we could cross reference title, actress, et al info from brian's database (or wherever). The problem with having it as a filename (instead of part of) is that it is sort of a bitch to figure out what the heck you actually have on your hard drive. An addendum to the "text info" thing I was talking about previously. In .avi files, you can put that sort of stuff in, but I'm not certain whether you could include metadata in a .rm, .qt, .mov, et al file. |
