Charlie's Angels (1976): Episode: "Magic Fire" (2.11) While investigating a series of arson fires, Angel Sabrina Duncan (Kate Jackson) is caught snooping. The villain uses electrical cords yanked out of lamps to tie her up. Sabrina's hands are bound behind her back and her ankles are tied. Another cord around her torso secures her to the backrest of a wheeled office chair. She is gagged with a wide strip of black tape. The baddie sets up an incendiary booby-trap device and then leaves to establish his alibi. The device goes off a few minutes later, setting the office on fire. Sabrina works desperately to save herself. She first wheels over to an aquarium and kicks it over in an unsuccessful attempt to douse the flames. She then flips the office chair and works herself free of it. But she is still bound hand and foot and tape-gagged. For the next several minutes, she struggles furiously to escape the bondage while avoiding the growing flames. Fortunately, her fellow Angels (and Bosley) show up in the proverbial nick of time and drag Sabrina out of the burning office. |

| Terry Farrell in Hellraiser III sure gave it her all in that scene despite it's brief length. Struggles and moans like her life depends on it (and in her character's instance in that sequence it most certainly did). |

(1965) Medium: TV Series Actress: Heidi Vaughn Description: Episode: "The Disinherited" (8.18) In a wonderful scene, the blonde cutie is bound hand and foot and cleave-gagged with a white cloth. She's wearing a tan blazer and skirt and a light blue blouse. While hopping around in an attempt to escape, she accidentally knocks over an oil lamp, which immediately ignites the carpet. She struggles and mmmphs furiously before being rescued in the nick of time by a federal agent. In a minor continuity error, though several shots show her ankles convincingly tied, one shot midway through shows her stumbling around with her feet fairly far apart and apparently unbound. |

In the meantime the psycho was between the sheets with Kiki's mom, which was high on the gross out scale, but the chances of a scene seem much smaller than they did weeks ago. She is taped to a rather heavy chair but she does struggle quite fiercely, one of her captors even asks her to stop. Also, I'd say that Dulce Maria's scene mentioned in the Video section also features quite a lot of struggling and pleading, for that matter. Finally, Jaime Turner's scene from Fatal Error also comes to mind. She is really trying to get out of that chair and away from the computer screen she's been tied opposite to, for reasons that will only make sense to those who have seen the movie... |

This one is from a short-lived spinoff series about the corrupt cop from BJ and the Bear. The damsel is an undercover cop who has infiltrated a gang of robbers and whose cover has been blown. She is bound and gagged in the back of a moving truck, wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and is struggling very energetically, making indignant noises through her gag. She is shown again 3mins later, tied to a chair (hands to armrests with white rope) and looking pissed off. She first tries bargaining with her captors, but then surprises them with a rather interesting request: "You wanna tie these ropes a little tighter? I'm into the bondage thing." Bemused and annoyed by this, they decide to shut her up by cleave gagging her onscreen with a knotted black bandanna. She stays like this until 32mins, when friends of her dad arrive to ungag and untie her. |

| My favorite- Record number: 4567 Title: Flash Gordon (1954) Medium: TV Series Actress: Irene Champlin Description: Episode: "The Claim Jumpers" (1.6) In this episode of the short-lived mid-50s sci-fi series, Dale Arden (Champlin) is captured by the bad guys, tied to one of the spaceship's control chairs and detective gagged with her own scarf so Flash won't be alerted to their presence until they ambush him. Dale is bound and gagged on screen and there are plenty of great close-ups as Dale struggles to get free before the planet's radiation kills her and the unconscious Flash. Action starts at the 12 minute mark (no commercials) and lasts until the 16:00 mark. Great scene! Tags: bonddesc_handsbehind, gagtype_OTM, onscreen_gagging, restraint_leathercuffs Love the fact that not only does she get loose but she ends up rescuing the hero as well! :D |
