Actually, she just squirms over to the wall to try to plug the phone, whose cord is binding her, into the wall. Doesn't make all that much sense, since the receiver is somewhere around her legs and she wouldn't be able to dial in any case. Before she is finished, her bad guy boss comes into the room and unties her. |

Many years ago I went to a late night short film festival where they showed a lot of animated stuff and just offbeat things like "Bambi vs. Godzilla." Anyway, they showed a couple of the Max Fleischer "Superman" cartoons from the 1940's, and at one point of course Lois Lane was tied up and twisting around trying to escape. There was a group of girls about college-age several rows down from me, and one of them said "Oh, she loves it," and most of the others laughed. I'd seen the cartoons before, but I liked them even more after that evening. |

| The defunct crime drama Without a Trace was quite prolific in this regard, producing numerous scenes with bound and gagged actresses. The most memorable one was the one featuring a hot mother and daughter duo bound and gagged together. |
