Stumptown
Forgive me, Mr. Mod, and please allow me a final word. According to Microsoft News:

"The studio behind the show [Stumptown], ABC Signature, plans to find it a new home at another outlet, according to Deadline, who first reported the news."

Apparently, and based on my half-assed research... "ABC" is the broadcast channelon every American dial, but the company that actually makes (or made) Stumptown is "ABC Signature," a Walt Disney Television company that emerged when Disney absorbed Touchstone Television and the original ABC Signature Studios.

Bottom line: there's a good chance Season 2 of Stumptown will be reborn [insert phoenix reference here] on one of the streaming services, the logical favorite being Disney+.

Disney+ has generally been reserved for the company’s family friendly programming. Right now, the Simpsons is probably the most adult show they have. Some ABC programs will be making their way to Disney+ soon like Agents of SHIELD and Once Upon A Time, but does Stumptown have enough family appeal for it to be put on Disney+? It’s possible that it goes on Hulu+ which Disney also owns.

To clarify, fresh news is fine. Non-productive discussion
is the complaining and such.

Favorite Show For Bondage?
What is your all-time favorite show for its bondage scenes?

The Avengers. Partially because of the stunning beauty of the various female leads (including the incomparable late Dame Diana Rigg) but mostly because it was cleverly written and acted and hit a perfect balance between action, humor, fantasy, and ahead-of-their-time fetish elements.Half a century later, it still remains utterly unique.

Rookie Blue. Both of Missy Peregrym's excellent full treatment scenes, especially her first.

T.J. Hooker, because of Heather Locklear, especially the episode “The Obsession” (5.09), in which she was taken hostage and locked in her own handcuffs for practically the entire episode.

Well, it's quite subjective. "Favorite" can mean the amount of bondage scenes a show delivers (and of those, scenes that are suited to your particular taste & preferences), the quality of the bondage scenes (loosie tie-ups vs. majorly stringent hogties & such), actresses that you personally like, riveting plotlines with danger & nail-biting suspense for the damsel vs. nice but static scenes, etc.

For me personally, I have a hard time as categorizing a random show like "Supergirl" or "Rookie Blue" as a "favorite" considering the relatively few scenes they deliver and to ME there are nothing special (nice, but not spectacular).

I think that for myself, as a "favorite" show for bondage I'd have to go with either "The 100" or "Criminal Minds", both of which have produced an incredible number of full treatment scenes (especially "The 100", which I have to say must have set some kind of record for Full Treatment scenes relative to the (rather short) time the show has been on). Most always are complete with gags (and for me it's a win-win because the thin cleaves with closed/stretched lips are my personal favorite gags), and I think it's one of the few shows where just about every female member of the cast has been tied & gagged at least once.

And "Criminal Minds" in its heyday seemed to have a bondage scene (and MANY were full treatment) nearly every other week..

But all that's just ME....as they say, Your Mileage May Vary!

Last season. This was one of those "high hope" shows,
because it featured Colby Smulders as a PI that got into
various scrapes. But it generally resulted in her
punching guys.

She got chloroformed in one of the last episodes, so she did get into a bit of DID action. It's possible she may have had a full scene next season. I guess we'll see if the show gets a new lease on life elsewhere, fingers are crossed.

Agree. The best for quality and sheer number of scenes, nothing else comes close imho. Patrick Macnee on Dick Cavett circa 1969 (not an exact quote but close): "We always tried to get bondage in almost every episode." I met an old geezer in the 1990s at a photo shoot and he told me he wrote episodes for the show in the 1960s and the technique and style was first think up a clever line or retort for Steed or Peel or King then build a story around the line... ala "No gags!"
