I don't know about this show, but I have seen clips of the upcoming LOS MISERABLES on the same network, showing Aracely Arambula handcuffed in front. |

No, and I don't have high hopes for a decent scene in this movie: "...However attractively shot, with its moody palette and scrupulous framing, “A Walk Among the Tombstones” can be tough to watch, particularly in its fleeting images of tortured women..." from a New York Times film review. The shot of the dental gag reminded me of the (disappointing) beginning of the old film with Nicole Egert "Forbidden (something like that)" with Charles Bronson. It started with closeups of sex toys and her arms getting bound to a bed. Then went downhill from there. When I saw the beginning of this trailer a few weeks ago I expected them to announce it was another "Taken" sequel considering the setup and dialogue was almost exactly the same. Talk about recycled. |

Talk about recycled. Actually based on a Lawrence Block novel of the same name from 1992. Jeff Bridges played a very different take on the same detective character (Matt Scudder) in 8 Million Ways to Die in 1986. Regardless, the marketing sure is playing up the Taken angle as much as possible. |
