Thursday August 29 09:57:31 2013 "You're Next" and "Getaway" |
These two movies are in US theaters now. "You're Next" sounds like a horror/comedy about an ax killer who attacks a family reunion and one family member somehow fights back. Possible scene although a bit unlikely sounding. "Getaway" is a story where a wife is kidnapped and Selena Gomez helps find her. Sounds more likely. I haven't seen these. Has anyone seen them to report back on anything of interest? |

If I exclude what others have already mentioned, my remaining top 5 would be: 1) Yvonne Craig as Batgirl in Catwoman's pattern cutter trap 2) Lynda Carter as Diana Prince tied to a chair with a time bomb in "The Starships are Coming" episode of "Wonder Woman" 3) Helen Talbot tied AOH as a plane propeller closes in on her in ep 4/5 of "Federal Operator 99" serial. (I think I could fill my top 5 with serials alone!) 4) Diana Rigg as Emma Peel tied to the tracks in the Avengers episode "The Gravediggers" 5) Linda Thorson as Tara King tied up by vaudevillains in the Avengers episode "Look (Stop Me if You've Heard This One)..." |

Too bad about no scene in You're Next, sure wouldn't have minded seeing Sharnie Vinson get the treatment. Maybe in another project of her's. |

Tossed into a locked room with a mattress, dragged out by the bad guys, and unhooded with no gag. Still possible she could get the treatment, but not looking too good. We should know for sure by the weekend. |

Anything in the "Pawn Shop Chronicles"? I guess someone's wife is kidnapped in it. Add "Jack the Reaper" to the list. It looked promising. |
