Curse of Chucky
Saw the new Childs Play/Chucky film at Frightfest yesterday. Has a pretty fine FT scene for main lead Fiona Dourif.

Here's what happens:

Her brother in law believes Nica (Dourif) has gone crazy and killed his wife and nanny, and worse kidnapped his young daughter. In reality it's a certain killer doll doing the bad. Anyhoo Nica faints due to a heart condition, a side effect of her condition that keeps her in a wheel chair. She comes round and is duct taped hands to wheelchair. After some back and forth she is gagged on screen with more tape. Several close ups and lots of MMMPHHing as Chunky comes a looking for them both. Nica frees herself and attacks the killer doll still while gagged. Good scene as Dourif is damn hot.

Later in the film, there's a short flashback scene which shows Nica' mother, played by Chantal Quesnelle handcuffed to a bed and duct taped gagged, by Brad Dourif, the killer who becomes Chucky (and Fiona's dad IRL). Some close ups and MMMPPH before the tape comes off and a lot of stuffing is spat out. Nice little scene, thou Ms Quesnelle is heavily pregnant in the scene.

Vanessa Hudgens, Gia Mantegna
Vanessa Hudgens has two handcuff scenes in "The Frozen Ground", but most of the bondage in the film involves Gia Mantegna. I added the scene to the DB.

Sounds great! Can't wait for it- I was going to watch a new Chucky film anyways, but this is the sweet, sweet icing on the cake. PLUS, Fiona is pretty hot. Though she does look a bit like her dad, which is.....unsettling...

Chantal Quesnelle, who plays the mother, who also gets the treatment, is even better.

This movie on starz has Katharine McPhee kidnapped(rag over mouth) at 0:46, several very good and long blindfold scenes(0:47-1:08), hands and later feet tied,(short views of wrist and feet tied with fish line). No gag at all. I could not find in data base(please let me know it it's there.

Just like old times...
I just noticed that Gilligan's Island is being shown in my area (Ontario, Canada) and next week is a nice little trifecta. Monday is an episode where Mary Anne and Ginger are handgagged by headhunters, Wednesday is the one with Don Rickles where Mary Anne says something like "He gagged me and tied my hands behind my back," and Friday they're showing All About Eva, with the old evil twin scenario and Ginger getting all tied up. Just thinking about it is taking me back!

Old-timers, (or not old-timers, for that matter) what are your 5 favourite pre-1980 scenes?

In no particular order, mine are:

Batman--Batgirl tied to the pattern cutter
Gilligan's Island--Mary Anne and Ginger in How to be a Hero
The Avengers--Emma Peel in The Gravediggers
The Avengers--Tara King in Look, Stop Me if....
Man from UNCLE--Yvonne Craig in The Brain Killer Affair

And one more question: Was there a scene in the era where you grew up that you didn't know existed until the Internet came along? For me it was Loni Anderson and Lynda Carter in Partners in Crime.

Karen Jenson on "Brackett's World" is the first one I remember. Actually one of the first scenes of any sort I remember.

This is right in my wheelhouse, as that's when most of my favorite scenes occured. Hope you'll forgive me for not limiting it to 5, but even off the top of my pointy head all of these deserve mention.
Elizabeth Ashley in "Mission Impossible."
Phyllis Coates, "Broken Statues" ep of "Superman."
Pat Priest, "Incredible 2-Headed Transplant."
Stefanie Powers, "Die Die My Darling."
Deborah Walley, "Ghost in the Invisible Bikini."
Basinger and Shaw in "Dog and Cat." (Possible scene creep/fog.)
Samantha Eggar, "The Collector."
Those are the immediate ones; I'm sure I'll recall others soon.

To supplement previous nominees:

* Lynne Marta in The Rookies ("Time is the Fire")
* Corinne Clery in "The Story of O" (1975)
* Peggy Lipton in Mod Squad ("The Hot, Hot Car")
* "Dragnet" (1969)

I'd seen the titillating movie posters for the 1970s "Ginger" trilogy in the newspaper, but I didn't know how big the payoff was until many years later.

These 2 bring back more memories. All we had to go on in those days was the TV Guide, and I can remember seeing the synopses for these movies and thinking they might pay off, and being ecstatic when they did. Nothing like taking a chance on watching Die, Die at 1 a.m., and lo and behold, around 2:30 Stefanie finds herself bound and gagged.

A couple more great memories. I think I watched all of Mod Squad in syndication in the hopes that Leggy Peggy would get tied up, which she did a couple of times. And despite the unsavoury nature of the Dragnet one, I loved that blonde in that sweater....

And here's something semi-related that I ran across today. Anyone familiar with Rhino's series of Nuggets CDs? The L.A. one, called Where the Action Is, has a song by a group called The Full Treatment! Somewhere, someone is saying "must be one of us."

Re: Mass scene ID
Many were ID'ed, and the input from all those who pitched in is still highly appreciated, but many more remain. How about names for the remainder of these as-of-yet-unknown scenes?

On now
On now on "Fearnet"; "Blood Clan": pretty brunette wearing a red dress and heels in the woods (don't know why) is chloroformed. Wakes up hands cuffed in front and gagged with black tape. Movie started at 10:00pm scene occurred at 10:15 - more to come since she just ran away from her captor.

Hi Sam.

#3 The Cottage (2012)
#30 Barbarian Queen
#36 Chaos (I think) a TV show
#40 Another Day in Paradise
Hope this helps.

The correct title of this comedy is "You May *Not* Kiss the Bride" (and it is available on Netflix as a non-BluRay DVD).

It is not yet in the DB under either title.
