Always liked the extended kidnap scenes. when Jennifer Horton was played by blonde hottie Stephanie Cameron(as opposed to character regular the equally stunning Melissa Reeves). Kidnapped and taken to a cabin where she's tied to a bed over several episodes and gagged variously with otms and cleaves always with mouth stuffing. In her pajamas too, seriously sexy stuff. Recall a vagrant or something discovering her and her kidnapper who thinks they're playing a kinky game ha. Classic stuff. DOOL has delivered aplenty over the decades with some pretty realistic ties and tight/effective gags usually too. Bravo. |

Great scenes for both Susan Diol and Lisa Rinna |
Saturday August 26 09:50:40 2017 Re: Best DOOL SCENE? |
There was an awesome sequence of scenes long ago on Days where a brunette damsel was on an island with Bo. She recalled her capture in flashbacks and the scenes were awesome; great rope work, struggling etc. Does anyone recall this? |

Just remembered it was Julie Pinson. |

DOOL's been going since the mid 60s was wondering if they had any DiD scenes in the early days or did they start in the 80's? There's probably a few early scenes peril is a recurring theme in most soaps |

There's probably a few early scenes peril is a > recurring theme in most soaps They pretty much started in soaps in general in the 80s. The adventure plots became popular and prevalent beginning with Luke & Laura. Before then, soaps were more the stereotypical sitting around drinking coffee, stealing spouses, having illicit affairs and star-crossed lovers. |

Thank Heavens for the 80's, Luke & Laura, and adventure plots! Soaps have delivered awesome scenes for us, and let's not get started on their South American Cousins ;) |

I have a Google account. I then download Google sheets app and install on my phone. Once installed, I went and downloaded the alert.xls file. I open google sheets app and open file from my device storage. It will say unable to open. Here is the trick that works. Then select the hamburger icon at lower left of the xls file [The three lines or dots]. Scroll the new options till you get to the bottom and save as Google sheets. It will say unable to save, but select retry. It then creates a Google sheet version that I can new open and read. Now I can pick the hamburger icon and download a pdf version for offline or just keep the Google Sheet version in my drive in the app. Raffish read me seems to be PC oriented. |

I'm coming to the conclusion that Google just ain't the way to share spreadsheets—or at least automatically generated ones that require someone to do the "I hereby bless you as a spreadsheet" needful before they'll work for anyone else. Looking into alternatives, including free hosts that I could zap a simple HTML page to every night. Suggestions over email are always appreciated. |

Film apparently has sub-plot about Qu Jingjing being abducted or something "But by the time Lee and Wong collaborate to take down the Chinese gangsters in an elaborate effort to rescue Steve’s damsel in distress, the silliness factor has long taken over..." |

Saturday August 26 18:51:26 2017 Sarah Gadon |
Posibilities for Sarah Gadon in the upcomming mini tv series Alias Grace about a housemaid and immigrant from Ireland who was imprisoned in 1843. It would be great to see her at last getting the full treatment. Some photos in imdb m |

Agreed would be nice if Sarah got a good scene or two. Being a period prison drama best we'll probably get is period handcuffs. Don't expect a gag at all. Has anyone read the Alias Grace novel? Might describe what we can expect to see on screen |

Saturday August 26 21:01:33 2017 Latin Telenovela Damsels Hall of Fame |
Who would you nominate ? My starters: Natalia Oreiro, Laura Novoa, Martiza Rodriguez, and Karla Monroig. |
Saturday August 26 23:28:19 2017 Re: Sarah Gadon |
She's long been on my wish list for a good full treatment scene, I sadly don't expect it from this. But you never know what the future may hold, I'm hopeful she'll get a good scene somewhere down the line. |
