I don't think this is a productive line. |

We like seeing damsels B&G and that's the whole point, and often their characters are disposable (especially in screamer horror flicks), but occasionally a scene might make us feel extra sympathy. Maybe a likeable character bravely endures a lot of abuse, gets free, gets recaptured, etc. Marina Resa in Roadside Massacre had me thinking "Staaahp already....." when they kept beating the shit out of her, and she never escaped. |

She tries so hard, but just keeps getting defeated and bound and gagged! I mean, I still really enjoy it every time, but I'm rooting for her so much more now than when the series started that it's kind of bittersweet when she gets captured now, especially on the occasions when it really gets to her. |

Empowered is interesting. Emp is so loveable and you are emotionally invested in her trials and tribulations and want to see her succeed always. But she just looks so damn hot bound and gagged that whenever you see her like that it's simply thrilling. Adam Warren has skillfully created the perfect DiD, and the way he binds her fabulous curves and gags her Bardot-pouty lips is designed to push all our buttons at once. And often the villains who catch her treat her more respectfully than her peers. I get most upset when she's belittled by Major Havoc(HATE that fool!). If Emp gets to the point where she never gets captured at all I'll understand and root for her all the way. As long as other characters get the full treatment e.g. Ocelotina and the ever-sexy Ninjette I'll be happy. Coz nobody does animated bondage better than Mr Warren :) |

The database tends to have omissions so I have to ask: Anyone know if there are any scenes of interest? The original had a nice extended one. |

I don't think recitation of torture and gruesome death is conducive to productive discussion. That's not what the page is about. It's fine to mention details like that when describing a scene as it's important to some to be aware of it. Focusing on this in isolation isn't. If we want some discussion along these lines of let's say "test of endurance", I can allow that. Other than that I will stick to my ruling. If people can't follow the guideline I will remove the posts and shut it down. |

Marlena (Deidre Hall) gets committed to an asylum by her crazy twin Hattie (Hattie impersonates Marlena as she signed the papers). She is seen in a straitjacket at the end of the episode. |

If Moderator were to give responses that are logical to all but the retarded like this one, he wouldnt be regarded as poorly as a lot of posters do. |

Wednesday August 02 23:07:53 2017 Re: Damsels You Feel Bad For |
The post was just meant to start a discussion about scenes where we actually feel bad for the damsels involved due to the way the scene plays out, it wasn't meant to be critical of violent or torture-oriented scenes. Just saying sometimes the way the damsel acts or the way the scene plays out brings sympathy to the damsel. Much as I love seeing women B&G there's times a certain scene could strike a strong chord from an emotional standpoint. |
