I was a kid back in the 90s and would've never been allowed in adult bookstores back then and thus wouldn't have had legal access to these. But I'd imagine it must've been exciting to get news of new scenes in various film and television productions. It must've been like the TV Guide for bondage, hehe.

I, too, eagerly anticipated the release of each new issue. In the days before the Worldwide Web, this publication was our only way of knowing what television shows and movies contained salacious scenes of interest to us. In addition to information about potentially interesting television shows and movies, it also had information about which periodicals had advertisements featuring bound and gagged models.

RIP Nicholas Coster
Longtime actor just passed away this week, had several memorable enccounters with DIDs.

The most memorable would be Lynda Carter's gag scene aboard the boat where he tells his henchman "I'm glad we gagged her."

He was also in the second season of Sheriff Lobo, and was in on the discovery of Tara Buckman gagged when she was rescued.

He also did years of soap work, not sure if he had any DIDs in those shows, not sure if he played bad guys or not.

Most memorable to me was as the villain at the end of the Amazing Spiderman: Matter of State episode.

Ellen Bry - perfect nosey reporter. Perfect OTM gag. If the preceding handgag had been longer and close up, it would have been a classic sequence.

Ellen never got the credit she deserved for several very nice scenes. She'll always have a place in my heart.

Realistically tied with heavy rope?
There are a lot of scenes, usually comedic, where very thick, heavy ropes are used (say 1/2 inch or thicker). It can be hard to tie tight knots in thick rope, but a secure tie might still be possible with tight enough wraps and unreachable knots. Are there any scenes where this has been done?

I loved her character, a beautiful yet overly inquisitive reporter who was always running afoul of the dastardly villains. She ignored her friend Peter Parker's offer to share the crime stories he covered with her, and instead attempted to investigate them on her own. She wound up bound and gagged during the course of her adventures. Who knows how many more times she would have been bound and gagged had the series had more longevity?

Incredibly, one online news site's headline said "Wonder Woman actor dies."

Coster was in one episode of WW, the gag one. Maybe a brianspage regular works for that site. An absurd headline.
