It's a Korean Drama called "Oasis." Look for the gag in episodes 5 and 6.

It had it's day, but like so many things, content has proliferated to the point that you have other options to explore if you go looking. Everything ends eventually - and in many cases, better stuff comes along.

Semi-related, here's an artist on DA that I found recently that does incredible work. He's done some Spider-Woman recreations that are as good as half the floppies you'll find at the local comic shop.

Reason: Why do you do this shit? We've been associates if not friends for decades, but now you seem to want to cause me trouble for some reason. You knew what I was going to do, and in the process lose the rest of your topical message. Even if you don't think it's the right way to run my site, you ought to at least respect it enough to follow the rules.

My good ol' kidnapey sense wasn't wrong, or at least not completely.
The damsel was indeed kidnapped in episode 88, but towards the end and off screen.
She stays captured and chairtied with ropes throughout all episode 89, and also faces the time-bomb peril in the last part of the episode
Alas, the DiD scenario is of the gagless variant, but I thought I might signal it since not everyone is as snob as myself
The writers of this series have a good record already, hopefully they will keep giving

Potential Lifetime Scene: Beware of Mom 2023
Well tonight's Lifetime movie was a total bust despite once again having a good premise for a scene and some snooping hotties. However, there was some good news tonight slogging through this crapfest movie, a promo ran for Lifetime's Beware of Mom marathon running Thursday's and Friday's through out May. At one point in the trailer, we see a brunette woman apparently discovering a blonde presumably bound and with a white cloth gag hanging around her neck. Haven't tried ID'ing the actresses yet and Lifetime hasn't put out the schedule of May movies yet so not sure what movie it will be. Based on my knowledge of some movies in development, it looks like the Marathon will include Crazy Pageant Moms (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt23853538/) and Don't Sell My Baby (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19637104/) from some of the snippets I saw in the trailer.

If anyone can ID either actress, that would be great. There's still about 8 Lifetime movies left to premiere this month before May so hopefully we'll get some action until then despite a quieter month so far from Lifetime.

Really? Paula Peril is still the only comic I know with decent art where an ordinary untrained reporter/snoop is put into death traps/perils and regularly restrained with chains/handcuffs and escapes from them. That water tank escape is still THE best scene I've seen in comics.
I'm not into superhero stuff at all. (Although Mary Batson stuff was nice due to her being an ordinary civilian when restrained)

I suppose the issues are still there, you just have to buy them in collections which I might do once I get the money for them.
Unless there are places that have the issues beyond issue #1? I haven't found any.
