| I just finished reading Lost Little Girl by Gregory Stout, a mystery novel set in Nashville, TN. Near the end of the novel, the protagonist's love interest, a beautiful blonde, is being held captive and menaced by the dastardly villain, who has bound and gagged and blindfolded her with duct tape. Earlier in the novel, there is an anecdote about domestic abuse, where a victim was bound and gagged with a rag stuffed into her mouth. |

| Sadly there's no preview of the book on Google Books, so no transcript of the scene. If the novel gets a film adaptation in the pipeline it'd be one to be on the lookout for for sure. |
