Don't know whether any of these would be of interest, but anyway... 1991 Mother Productions did a 40 card box called "Betty in Bondage," stills of Bettie Page and some of her female "co-stars." Not all were actually bondage, and not all the bondage ones included gags. Around 1993 Mother Productions did at least two boxed sets called "Exploitation of Women" with cover art from the Men's magazines of the 1960's. Lots of bondage and torture situations. Gags were rare. Kitchen Sink came out with a set called "Bizarre Detective" in either 1992 or 1982. (Sorry, I need more powerful glasses.) Reproduced covers from the "shudder pulp" magazines of the 1930's and 40's. Again, plenty of bondage, few gags. And 21st Century Archives Gallery Productions did a set of cards featuring covers from the "Weird Tales" pulp done by the fascinating and influential Margaret Brundage. Subject matter much the same as the other collections. |
