Sunday March 15 00:02:27 2020 Happy Anniversary |
We click off another year of doing what we do here. Not something I would have thought would last 23 years, but that's where we are. On March 15, 1997 this site began, as announced with this message posted to usenet: I have started up a page dedicated to discussion on the topic of bondage scenes from mainstream media. The page doesn't have a lot to it yet (I only worked on it for a few hours so far), but it does have forums for posting about trades, VCR alerts, and general discussion. As usual, it's happy anniversary to all because YOU make this page what it is. |

Sunday March 15 00:18:27 2020 Re: Happy Anniversary |
With the announcement out of the way, I'll go a bit deeper. This site has changed over the years, it had to as the world did. Originally the goal was to two-fold. One was to provide alerts in the days when missing something could mean it was gone forever. The other was to facilitate trades between collectors to get those missed scenes, back when that meant making a physical tape and sending it through the mail. So, what we do now is sort of the same, but sort of not. Alerts are a bit important, but if you miss it, someone got it and will put it up. Trades are almost a forgotten thing but people request and often receive clips. There's a lot more just talk these days. I try to provide a place for that and be as fair as I can about keeping a balance between freedom and control. I don't always do a perfect job, and sometimes people are angered by my decisions. I understand. I'm always willing to listen to complaints and to answer questions about why I did what I did. You should also feel free to throw suggestions on the sub-forum for that. I certainly don't guarantee I'll do anything with yours, but dialog is good. I do still have some tweaks I want for the forum software, especially to get online images back. I don't know how many more years we'll have. I'll try to keep things going as long as people are interested. |

On March 15 2020 Brian R wrote: > I don't know how many more years we'll have. I'll try to > keep things going as long as people are interested. I for one find the alerts still very important. As much fun as online clips & such are, I still like having a "physical copy" on DVD-R or even the good ol' VHS. I find the alerts given on the discussion page even more important than the actual "alerts" page, as most scenes folks see they immediately post to Discussion (and many don't make it to the "alerts" page itself beforehand). And since so many shows now repeat at least a few times soon after the original airing (Lifetime movies come to mind), and many more are available On Demand, there are hard;y any scenes I miss....and I am at the point that if I miss one, I miss one...my trading days are long gone! So anyway, I for one find the pages here still a valuable resource Brian, and I hope you are around for a long time to come! |

Sunday March 15 02:37:18 2020 Scene ID |
Can someone help me ID a scene? There's two girls who get kidnapped and taken to a motel. One is blonde and the other is brunette. They're cleave gagged and sitting in bathroom floor and they find a razor blade and one cuts herself so she can write a message with blood. Looked on database but couldn't figure out which one it was based off of keywords |

Unsurprisingly, my Top 10 list would consist exclusively of Chinese scenes; hence I'm offering a "non-Chinese Top 10" instead, starting from my most favorite scene. Places 3 to 5 are the only ones where I'm not set on the exact order, and they are somewhat interchangable. Nostalgy also plays a big role in the list. 1. Malgorzata Niemirska - Czterej Pancerni i Pies (Kwadrans po Nieparzystej) 2. Marlene Dauden - Combat Killers 3. Mel Harris - Distant Cousins 4. Ji-Won Ha - Damo (Episode 3) 5. Raffaella Carra - Von Ryan's Express 6. Honor Blackman - The Avengers (Intercrime) 7. Glynis Barber - Dempsey & Makepeace (Pilot) 8. Amanda Ooms - Young Indiana Jones (Barcelona, May 1917) 9. Roberta Angelica - Relic Hunter (Transformation) 10. Shirley Eaton - The Saint (Invitation to Danger) |

Happy Anniversary. Hard to believe it was 1997 when this started. Even as the world is changing, this site is still very useful and interesting. So many scenes are discovered thanks to this site, scenes that might be missed and lost otherwise. I was here at the very beginning and am still interested and very glad you do what you do. I hope it continues for a long time. |

You may all remember a few years back Bollywood star Rani Mukerji played a top cop and got the FT (albeit in a very short scene) in the film Mardaani, and a pretty good on screen gagging in a scene deleted from the first film. Well, the sequel has another scene for our star. No gag, but she does spend a few mins at the end of the film tied hands behind and menaced by the film's serial killer. There's also a female hostage whose chained to the floor involved in the climax. The scene is nothing special, but Mukerji is very attractive, so might be of interested. |

I enjoy reading the posts of others whose interests are aligned with mine, and looking at the pictures and videos you post. The voluminous Scene Database, whose information was amassed in the same manner as the Oxford English Dictionary, has helped me on countless occasions, and I've myself have made several contributions. The anniversary is bringing back serious nostalgia for me; I first discovered DID websites back in 2000 and imagine my surprise when I saw others had this peculiar interest that I'd long had since boyhood. Between Brian's Page and also Van's, Origpooh, etc. (props to anyone who remembers those) among scores of others. I'll never forget when I first stumbled onto DID sites. |

Alphabetically: Araguaia ep. 55 - Milena Toscano. Die! Die! My Darling! - Stephanie Powers. Eaten Alive - Marilyn Burns. Incredible Two-Headed Transplant, The - Pat Priest. Land of the Giants - The Unsuspected - Deanna Lund. Las Vegas - Junk in the Trunk - Vanessa Marcil. Martial Law - Endgame - Kelly Hu. Mission Impossible - The Question - Elizabeth Ashley. Here are my top 10 with some honorable mentions: 1) Geminis (a bound + gagged Ana Turpin is given a completely gratuitous handgag) 2) No Way Out (not an actual bondage scene, but Linda Darnell does get the mother of all handgags) 3) Du Hast Mir Meine Familie Geraubt (Katharina Abt suffers multiple on-screen gaggings) 4) Il Burbero (Debra Feuer's legs plus a thick white cleave gag should delight everybody) 5) Tatort “Vom Himmel hoch” (Lisa Bitter stripped to her underwear and left taped to a heater and thickly cleave-gagged). 6) Stralsund “Kreuzfeuer” (Anke Retzlaff is bound + gagged in her bra and panties and also assists in her own on-screen gagging) 7) Pacific Drive (Redhead Libby Tanner bound, OTM gagged, and chained to her own bed - if only it were available in HD!) 8) The Bill “Russian Roulette” (the stunning Eglantine Rembauville mmmphing through a huge black tape gag) 9) Защитница: (Russian cop Ekaterina Klimova briefly bound and tape gagged, then given one of the greatest, albeit brief, handgags ever) 10) Condor “Trapped in History” (Katherine Cunningham bound with rope and gagged with a sponge + necktie). Honorable Mentions: Beyond Remedy (Marie Zielcke w/ wraparound tape gag), Highlander “Black Tower” (Rochelle Redfield OTM gagged), Damnation “God's Body” (super-cute redhead Sarah Jones cleave gagged on-screen), Mes chères études (Deborah Francois nude and OTM gagged), and Love Object (Melissa Sagemiller strapped down and ballgagged). Special Honorable Mention: There is a Chinese scene (presumably a movie, though I have no idea of the title) with three cute damsels in two separate scenes. In the first part two young women are bound and tape-gagged side-to-side as a bunch of men talk around them. They struggle and squirm to no avail, at one point glancing at each other helplessly (1st link). The second scene features another young, attractive damsel tied to a chair with a fair amount of rope and gagged with black tape. She appears to be used as leverage in a dispute between rival gangs meeting in a parking garage; wearing a blue dress that show offs her exquisite arms and legs, she struggles and mmmphs emphatically at times in this classic damsel-in-distress scenario (2nd & 3rd links). http://img28125.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=334271879_.mp4_snapshot_00.23_2019.03.23_12.06.51_122_957lo.jpg http://img28114.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=334272482_.mp4_snapshot_03.50_2019.03.23_12.06.01_122_668lo.jpg http://img28105.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=342723820_.mp4_snapshot_03.42_2019.03.23_12.05.53_122_1168lo.jpg |
