Tuesday January 19 06:58:58 2016 IMDB keywords |
Just discovered IMDB keywords. Looks like anyone can contribute and it's not heavily policed. For example, a search for keywords with "handcuff" yields "handcuffed-woman", "handcuffed-to-bed", "handcuffed-to-post", etc. Rather detailed, and some keywords clearly violate their recommendation (several duplicates, a few plurals, etc.) which is why I think it's not heavily monitored. I also like that you can tag individual episodes or the entire series. All you need is an IMDB account (easy to create, just an e-mail address is fine; can even be throw-away after you confirm). Seems to me if we start entering keywords, we could end up with a huge resource. By the way, "damsel-in-distress" currently is tagged to 1826 titles. "woman-in-peril" is also used 28 times. |

Preferably one that doesn't horribly violate their TOS. :) The FBT sheets have 4500+ gag listings and 15,000+ other keywords, and of course they're not nearly complete. It certainly would make sense to combine the two someday. |

DinD scene with rescue but pretty lame |
Tuesday January 19 20:52:52 2016 The Flash |
Patty Spivot (Shantel VanSanten) is kidnapped on tonight's episode of the Flash at about the 40 minute mark. She is tied to a chair with her wrists ziptied to the arms of the chair. Unfortunately no gag and she's rescued before the next commercial break. |

Judging by Twitter pics, tomorrow's episode will be ultra-lame but what can be expected when Jerry O'Connell is the bad guy? |

There was a very brief scene like that in Women of the Prehistoric Planet (1966). From the database: In the first half-hour, if not the first fifteen minutes, a female crew member is shown tied to a chair onboard a spaceship and overgagged with green cloth. The scene lasts only a few seconds. Is that it? |
