I did it manually, but they also have a separate application you can download which will automatically "backup" a local drive to the cloud. From what I've read, G00gle will allow unlimited storage at the "high quality" upload setting. For videos, this means anything 1080p or less which is sufficient for our cases. There is also a limit of 2GB. In terms of utility, G00gle provides great options for sorting, searching, indexing, but the uploaded videos have the information buried in the "Details" pane. A quick view shows only the first frame of the video. There are no captions, but I just checked and searching by filename (or parts of it) returns the videos just fine. Unfortunately, as a test case I copied/pasted the database entry into the description of a video and I don't think that's indexed for the search feature (pity). It's also too bad they don't have the typical option to "tag" videos otherwise it would make the worksheet almost redundant as you could put all the information on the clip itself. One crude way around this would be to create albums such as "OTM gag", etc. (in lieu of tags) and put movies into albums. I was really curious about G00gle's photo assistant. It scans the images and is able to answer queries such as "beach" by identifying images of beaches. Unfortunately, it didn't work for videos (all the shame, imagine the fun we could have with that feature). If you want to check out the album, I'll re-post the link. The best part is you don't need an account to view the link. |

I was wrong. Perhaps it takes time to index, but the "search" feature does in fact include the text in the description. It has odd behavior, however. Searching for "high heels" gives 0 results. Searching for "heels" alone gives expected result. Search for "Pascale Arbillot" gives 0 results, while searching for either name alone gives expected result. So it seems you can only search for a single term, which is a bit restrictive, e.g. if you were interested in "tape gag" you can only find "tape" which would include tape in all other situations. Easy to work-around as we can include your pre-defined "tags" in the database as hashtags, e.g. #hands-behind, and search for that as a single term. I can't confirm this functionality as it takes some unknown time to index changes to the description. |

Almost too good to be true. For some reason I'd been thinking that Google weren't any more forgiving about copyright issues on Drive than on YT, but if that turns out not to be the case, I'll be one happy camper. Dare I hope that their APIS will allow me to import those hashtags and add Brian's DB entries automagically based on the spreadsheets? Because that would *really* rock. |

| At 30:30, the new DVD release gives us a scene of a woman strapped to some torture chair with a bit/ball gag. Kind of a vicious scene, like the one in Acts of Death. Someone posted a picture of this well over a year ago. I figured I would follow up on it. |

Promo from last night shows that she knocks on the door and a woman answers. originally the woman tries to get rid of her and then for some reason, invites her in. as soon as she does, a man grabs her by the throat and pins her against the door. shows her hands likely handcuffed behind her back, its by bunk beds with metal bars so i dont know if she is handcuffed to the bar or just handcuffed. looks like it will have a chance. |
