| I saw this episode of "The Untouchables" a couple of nights ago. It as actually a rather nice little scene, and I believe it deserves more than the three-word description it got. What can I say? I was a big fan of Madlyn Rhue since I saw her in "Bracken's World."
Ms. Rhue was wearing a form-fitting suit jacket with matching skirt and black heels. She was tied with her wrists apart to the chair arms and (as seen in only one brief, long full shot) her ankles were also tied. She was gagged with a long piece of white tape that nearly went from ear-to-ear. There were a couple of nice face close-ups. When her father (gangster Tommy Karpeles of the episode title) enters and demands the kidnappers untie her, she tries to motion with her eyes that there's a gunman behind him, and as soon as her hands are freed she pulls the tape off her face and yells out a warning -- too late. |
