Monday June 02 00:03:16 2003 REBIRTH OF MOTHRA revision |
I revisited this entry a few minutes ago to add some more info, after having archived the sequence for my collection, and found it had been pared down to its bare essentials. Any particular reason? The excised material simply put the scene in the context of the film ... which I enjoyed playing with. |

Was that your work, or another's? Where'd you find the actor's name, BTW? I searched a good bit before giving up. |

"Where'd you find the actor's name, BTW? I searched a good bit before giving up." Here Doing quite abit of German to French to English translations recent with the German shows airing here, so "Frau Goto .... Hitomi Takahashi" Poster gave family name as "Goto" and "Frau" normally comes up as "Wife- Wife of" in the guides. If I'm wrong here? Let me know...Thanx |

Monday June 02 14:00:25 2003 Recent Entry [#8767]- Ref |
Record number: 8767 Title: Trojan Warrior Medium: Movie Actress: Various Description: This is an Australian movie so I'm not sure of it's availibilty world wide. Unsure at what point in the movie this occurs but it's somewhere in the middle. The two characters see some suspicious activity occuring at the docks. The open up a shipping container and inside there are about 16 to 17 girls all handcuffed by one hand to a chain running about head level around the container. They are all dressed in nightclub/pub clothes as they had all been snatched from a pub to be "exported" overseas (for slavery I think). It's not a short scene but it's not long either. Then in the next scene the police raid the pub where this has been happening and during the raid they open up a small crate and find two girls in similar attire as those above tape gagged and with their hands bound with tape in front of them. This is a reasonably short scene. They also look rather groggy. I didn't watch the rest of the movie but its a 'kung-foo' style Action/Comedy. ______ IMDB Trojan Warrior (2002) |

Although it's not identical, take a look and you'll get a sense of what was taken out. "Frau Goto" would be the clincher ... I found the family name in my search, and she plays the wife/mother. Thanks for digging it up. |

Figure I'll answer your e-mail & post here at once, Mosura (1996) aka Rebirth of Mothra This I did change around, reason being Mosura (1996) main title on IMDB IMDB Mosura (1996) With all the sqwacking about the Search feature, have been running through and trying to line up all uniform, same as they appear in IMDB. Normally more important for the TV Series and in the case of this one, wouldn't have made a difference but figured as long as there.... "I don't suss the flushing of the other text. Suss? "I reworked and restored the excised text, along with adding detail" Looks fine to me now, if what you meant by "Suss" "you'll get a sense of what was taken out." Well, admit normally don't edit- keep notes of descriptions except for episode titles, and such. Rarely edit a post due to them. Had to edit quite a few of recent so can't recall this one specific. Also, this one not on "Sqwack List" I keep for editing simple "Bound & gagged" descriptions, that piss-off the collectors and I hear all about. So's best can say if me? I buggered it up. ""Frau Goto" would be the clincher" That's good then. Btw: Actress name is a particular interest of mine due to the French language channels using different titles. Actress name is one consistant thing in both English & French air scheds. When most US collectors claimed don't care if French spoken in a scene, decided to put this effort into it. Realise this not that important for US air-scheds, so's really should be me thanking you for assist in tracking name down. |

> Can have Brian bring up original and I'll re-edit it? Here are all the versions: > Title: Rebirth of Mothra (1996) (aka Mosura) < Actress: unknown < Description: pretty Asian girl bound hands behind back, lying on floor, several closeups of cleave-gagged face during a battle with flying toys. > Actress: Unknown > Description: Mom is shown behind the couch: wrists bound behind, legs wrapped with the vacuum cleaner cord (vac still attached), and cleavegagged with a scarf, around the 20' mark (with ads), in a scene that lasts around five minutes. Her young daughter sits transfixed on the couch while tiny Mothra and his handlers battle some evil sorceress type on *her* flying monster, blasting the living room to smithereens in the process. Gotta love kaiju. Ultimately her sonfrees her wrists and ungags her, and she untangles herself from the vac cord. I gave up trying to find the actor's name after a determined search. The family name in the film is Goto. Please post to DB Corrections if you come across it. > Actress: Hitomi Takahashi > Description: Hitomi is shown behind the couch: wrists bound behind, legs wrapped with the vacuum cleaner cord (vac still attached), and cleavegagged with a scarf, around the 20' mark (with ads), in a scene that lasts around five minutes. Ultimately her son frees her wrists and ungags her, and she untangles herselffrom the vac cord. Description: While her young daughter sits transfixed on the couch, the victim of some spell cast by a teeny evil sorceress, Mom is shown behind it: wrists bound behind with jumprope, legs wrapped with the vacuum cleaner cord (vac stillattached), and cleavegagged with a scarf, around the 20' mark (with ads), in a scene that lasts around five minutes. I'm guessing she got that way via her young'un, at the bidding of said baddie. Meanwhile two fairy types on Mini-Mothra battle her and her ray-spewing flying monster. Much property damage to the house ensues. Gotta love kaiju. Anyway, ultimately her son freesher wrists and ungags her, and she untangles herself from the vac cord. > Description: While her young daughter sits transfixed on the couch, the victim of some spell cast by a teeny evil sorceress, Mom is shown behind it: wrists bound behind with jumprope, legs wrapped with the vacuum cleaner cord (vac stillattached), and cleavegagged with a scarf. I hope you mean you hear about it on Discussion or whatever. The users should not be bugging you or any other editor individually, especially with general complaints. If that is the case, feel free at any time to refer the person to me, I'll deal with it "personally". |

I'm glad you checked the non-English sources, because I was finding bupkis elsewhere. |

Obviously the one immediately above should have been removed after the actor's name had been added, but I couldn't see the reason for taking out the other portion. Make sense now? If so, let's lay this one in the cold, cold ground. <g> |
