No she was not a nurse the names of the occupants of the house were mr and mrs nurse.

I remember they were cloth as well at bedtime.

Your right the episodes lasted for about a week and half but only about 3-4 days in reality.

One of them was Shot dead at the end.

Ive never heard of it as Valley Folk.

So am I, but a Gog. I can't actually receive the show, and am sorry I missed the eps described. As I've only ever seen the Welsh title in print, and the literal translation sounds a bit stilted, I offered an altenative. Still, if that's how the producers translate it, okay - People of the Valley it is.
