Sunday June 03 06:09:45 2001 Three Days of the Condor |
On the Internet, I have only ever seen descriptions in which Ms Dunaway is first seen gagged on Redford's return. Versions of the film usually aired on British TV are the same, but the first cut I ever saw (also on TV)had a scene in which Redford started by saying, "I need your car." He proceeded to tie her up against her protestations, and just before he gagged her, she said, "This is not fair!" There were several almost-closeups of her face being gagged and struggling as Redford left.
The order of scenes is also changed in subsequent versions; the original sequence made the narrative much clearer. |
