Re: Per- Anything Goes Page
"Brings up another question too. Should that be added as another seperate DB entry, or added onto the present entry for the serial?"

"I have before suggested single entries covering the same scene that went on over several episodes. Jay wanted them seperated: One ep, one entry."

Actually, splitting the entries was a request,
one Brian initiated where you could just put the entry # in to post the entry over on VCR Alerts Page.

In particular, recall the Spellbinder series, to distinguish the gag scene episode from the others.

If you feel they better together,
that fine with me as well.

present:

Record number: 10154
Title: 24
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Sarah Wynter
Description: Episode: Day 2. Time unknown.
(Based on screen captures)
She sits on a bench in a basement-like room. Though no hands or restraints are shown (in the caps), she sits like her hands are tied behind her back. She does not look happy. No gag.
She wears a grey blouse and white pants.

Yes. Like before, I had to post the above, and then later take a closer look at one of my 9 caps.
Change: Though no hands or restraints are shown (in the caps), she sits like her hands are tied behind her back.
To: Her hands are tied behind her back with black plastic cuffs (cable binders).

Sorry!

Not for movie serials though.

TV shows, yeah we decided to do that.

Jay, I had not seen your post in here before I answered in AG. I am not confused anymore (except maybe the planet thing.....)
Anyway, Anubis says he feels it better if they are together, for search reasons.
I disagree. If it is a different scene in another episode (maybe even with a different actress, we don't know for sure) then it should have it's own entry. I mean, that's how it is with all other series. Imagine all Xena scenes in ONE entry!
As for searching, a search for "Atom Man Vs Superman" should bring up both, right?

I will leave it up to you. I am not the editor.

Okay, perhaps not following here.

Spellbinder series was described as a 26 chapter Serial, translated here as Les Maitres Des Sortileges here.
Recall this,
because back then mostly the Collector gang on Discussion Page, and more interest in Chapt 25 cleave, than the earlier same Chapt 24 no cleave scene.
When split them,
worked out for when you implemented the Entry # post for VCR Alerts Page.

However,
later you had a sort of different group on Discussion Page.
Not guys in US like Kevin whom read Canadian Alerts for scenes they want, but were complaining to you about it. Correct?

Remember it,
as later Purple Monster one aired.
Told the fellas at the time that to save you from complaints, going back to single daily alert postings.
Hence, same amount of effort for posting, so no need to split the Serials, for me.

But I've not cared how others have done them since.

Arrrgghhh! Tried to search,
won't give me any Discussion Posts from back then.

Yes, there was a time I honoured that,
but there was a problem for Brian.
I myself haven't split them since.

"I mean, that's how it is with all other series. Imagine all Xena scenes in ONE entry!"

Oh, TV Series are all split,
but didn't worry too much about Serials like Spellbinder & Atomman vs Superman because they only about 30 chapters then they end.
Where TV Series could go on for many seasons.

"As for searching, a search for "Atom Man Vs Superman" should bring up both, right?"

Correct

Just to add,
Where probably losing you is the VCR Alerts part.
As don't see any Danish alerts.

If you go over to the VCR Alerts Page, on the Posting form there's a box titled "Database Record #"
It allows you just to enter the number, and posts the entry for you.

So with serials like Spellbinder & Atomman, where one scene might run through 2 chapters, but gag in only one,
splitting Serials makes it easier to post for the speific one of interest.
