Thursday March 07 15:52:59 2002 Re: Question For The Old Timer/Experts? |
Any other gag scenes would’ve most likely happened in a political intrigue episode during the First or early Second season. Most episodes beyond that centered on monsters and aliens who never seemed to bother with ropes or duct tape.
There’s an outside chance a couple of later episodes may have had a little DiD action, though I don’t remember well enough. An easy way to narrow it down would be to look at the cast lists, as there were very few female guest stars in those later years. I’m sorry this isn’t more helpful. I used to be a big VOYAGE fan years ago but the DiD aspects were apparently too weak to make an impact. I’m familiar with “Escape From Venice” yet don’t recall that scene! There are probably other forgotten scenes throughout the show, with and without gags. > Title: Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea > Be easier for me to ID (If not a double?), > if I had an idea which season to center on. > > Any assist appreciated |

Thursday March 07 19:08:07 2002 No One Can Hear You update |
re: DB entry #6398
Title: No One Can Hear You (recent direct-to-video thriller) Actresses: Kate Elliott, Annette Houghton, unknown Three actresses, with numerous male interference, are taped up quite nicely in this direct-to-video thriller about a mysterious killer murdering high school girls and their families. Annette Houghton plays a mom and the first damsel seen in a blink-or-miss-it scene near the beginning. She and her family are all taped securely to chairs--wrists, legs, and around the mouth/head--and discovered by their daughter, who's just come home. The baddie has used copious amounts of the thin, plastic-like, brown, packing tape to secure them. The daughter runs out of the house in fright, although her family is still alive at this point. The unknown actress is next. She plays the mom of the next family/daughter to be targeted and is shown in another blink-or-miss-it-scene. She's lying down in bed with her husband next to her, also taped up. Both of them have their wrists bound in front and tape fully wrapped around their mouth/head. Kate Elliott is the third damsel, whose family has been selected. Her scenes, near the end of the movie, are the longest and best of the lot. She's been knocked out and lying on the ground. As she awakens, she finds her hands taped behind her back. After some expository dialogue exchange, the baddie then applies a strip of tape to her mouth (although not fully around her head like the others). She mmmmphs quite well. When the baddie leaves to find her younger sister, she manages to sit up, stand up, and find a sharp object to cut thru the tape. Note: the existing DB entry has the wrong actress and ID. The character of Tracey Johnson is the daughter of the unknown second DiD and was not bound. |

Other than the episode you've found, the only matches were scenes with male characters. You'll note that the on-line database only has indepth coverage for the first season and about a half dozen episodes of the second. It's impossible from the plot outlines given here, or in my references, to determine if there was another scene. Personally, I agree with your hunch and eliminate the "white tape gag" scene. Since the show is being rebroadcast, we'll hope somebody will report any episodes of interest. |
