I didn't see anything in Episode 2 with a quick scan, but the commercial breaks are beyond annoying. Hulu sucks. Not like Netflix where you can scan easily. |

Cool find! Weird, but cool. This would make a good gag for a scene involving an "Industrial-level", organized group of kidnappers, like the villains in Hostel 2. When I was a kid in the Early '80s I remember seeing a full-page ad in one of my Mom's supermarket tabloids for a device that was meant to be a gag gift (Ha!) for dieters. It was a mask that strapped over the nose and mouth of an over-eater and could be padlocked(!) in place to prevent snacking between meals. Kind of similar to Hannibal Lector's mask in Silence of the Lambs except this was years before. The ad had a big B&W photo of a grumpy-looking housewife wearing one. My little perverted adolescent goblin brain really fixated on that ad, and I clipped it out and kept it until the crappy pulp paper basically disintegrated. I fantasied about all kinds of kinky scenarios where a villain could use such a mask to keep a girl from taking off her gag even if her hands were untied to write a ransom note, take a potty break, withdraw money from an ATM, take a list of demands to the cops outside, etc. I'm guessing the product was a total flop as I never saw the ad again (No surprise, really, as the whole idea of giving such a thing as a gift was pretty dubious and cruel, even for the eighties). |

| It just straight-up looks like s panel gag doesn't it! With the straps going up behind the head etc. Love the snug fit under the nose - very sexy. Would be very effective too. Don't think it would be overly expensive to purchase either. Hopefully some film-maker types(and I know plenty visit this site!)will take notice of these posts. Can see one popping up in a Euro production; French or Spanish possibly. Probably Turkish too they love their gagged DiD's ;). |
